Todays the day! I'm proposing today! I bought a ring in the summer, after asking Mr. Weasley for his blessing. I was always going to propose, the law just pre-pond the date.
Since I've already met her parents and she can't meet mine, we get to skip that part.
Today morning I woke up early, it's a Saturday so we don't have classes.
"Ginny? Wake up, we're going out!" I said to wake her up.
She got up and I told her to get dressed. She went into the bathroom with her clothes while I changed in the bedroom. I wore jeans and a shirt and even tried to fix my hair, but that didn't work. Soon, Ginny came out. She was wearing a beautiful red dress.

"Where are we going?" She asked the second she came out.
"You'll find out! For now though, we're going to Hogsmeade. Then we'll apparate away."
She nodded and we walked out.
"You know, I was talking to Hermione yesterday, and she and Malfoy are sleeping together! I asked her if they were shaggin-"
"Shhhh! I don't want to know!"
"Why? She's your best friend and he's your enemy, and you don't care if they sleep together?!"
"No Gin, she's like a sister to me. Ron doesn't want to know what happens between us, does he?"
She shook her head, "I guess, but they aren't shagging... sadly..."
I shook my head and looked at her, why did she want them to be!
I was just walking blindly now, planning the proposal in my mind. "Harry? Are you okay? I said your name three times already... You look pale, come, sit down." She said and led me to a bench.
"I- I'm fine Gin, just nervous I guess, might as well..." I took a deep breath in and looked into her brown eyes. I opened my mouth to speak but closed it.
What if she says no? What if she doesn't love me?
I shook the thoughts out of my head and spoke.
"Ginevra Molly Potter, you fell in love with me the first time you saw me. It took me a few years, but now, I'm so deep that I can't live without you. I broke up with you to protect you, but I hated it. I hated myself. When I was out, hunting horcruxes, and Ron left, Hermione and I wouldn't talk for days on end. But you know what kept me going? You. Just the thought of you! I love you Ginny, will you marry me?" As I spoke I knelt to the ground and pulled out the ring. We were both crying and through my tears I saw her nod.
"Oh Harry, I love you!" She squealed as I slipped the ring onto her finger.
