I just sat on my rotating chair with a wide smile on my face as I replayed last night's events.

Why am I behaving like a teenager who kissed for the first time?

"Come in." I said begrudgingly as someone knocked on the door getting me out of my stupid thoughts.

"Ma'am. There is a small problem." Vinay said as he looked scared.

"What is it?" I asked calmly.

"The-- the project manager has abscornded." He said.

"Yaa, but we already predicted it right? So, what is the problem?" I asked being absolutely calm and he looked at me shocked.

"What? So, is it not a problem?" He asked scared that I might burst any second.

But, today I was in amazing mood!
So definitely no threats.

"Don't worry. I have it under control. I already knew something like this was going to happen and have trained Abhishek accordingly. He will handle it." I said and he just kept staring at me with wide eyes.

"Oo... Okay. Should I leave, Ms. Raichand?" He asked and I nodded getting back to my work.

But work was the last thing on my mind.

That stupid Malhotra has just overpowered all my senses.

And then I looked at my phone to see it was already mid afternoon.

I just shook my head and continued working but then after some time my mind started getting distracted again.
