How a proper family can heal a child's heart

~Chapter 8~

A day had past since Mr and Mrs Spletzer's unwanted appearance. James had calmed down a bit but was still a little mad at Elias. They were all sitting in the sitting area of the common room. However some extra people were there, Elijah and Alivia,who was one of elijah's older sisters.

Elias: "is he still mad?"

James: "Can everyone shut up for one second!"

Luke: "yeah.."

Elias: "can tell."

Luke was sat next to James, trying his best to keep him calm. Livy was running around the common room, Niles chasing her. However this peacefulness didn't last long.

Elias: "can someone take Livy to a different room for a bit? I don't want her to witness anything that happens."

Alivia: "yeah I will. Niles you wanna come?"

Niles: "yeah sure."

Niles and Alivia took Livy into Alivia's dorm. Elijah going into his dorm.

Elias: "okay. Now that she's out of the room. James I want you to stay as calm as you can be."

James: "what."

Elias: "would you mind if me and Alexis did end up adopting Livy?"

James: "NO! NO NO NO! IVE HAD ENOUGH OF THIS BULLSHIT. NO ONES TAKING HER AWAY FROM ME!"

Luke: "James!"

James stormed out of the room, followed by Luke who was followed by Alexis and Elias. James ran to the rooftop.Tears forming in his eyes

Luke: "James just let them explain!"

James: "NO LUKE YOU DONT UNDERSTAND. SHES ALL I HAVE! I LOST TERRENCE! I LOST MY YOUTUBE STUDIO! I LOST MY THERAPIST JOB! I CANT LOOSE HER! SHES MY LITTLE SISTER!"

Luke: "JAMES! PLEASE LISTEN TO ME! THEY WONT TAKE HER FROM YOU!"

Alexis: "James we know how much she means to you.. we don't want to take her away."

James: "ARE YOU TWO EVEN DATING? PLUS YOU WERNT THERE FOR 5 YEARS OF HER LIFE. YOU DIDNT SEE THE TROUBLE,THE TORTURE SHE WENT THROUGH!"

Elias: "James we know we never witnessed any of it, but we know about it and we wanna give her the life she deserves.."

James pulled Luke into a hug, tears falling out of his eyes.Alexis and Elias turned to face each other

Elias: "if your not okay with it we won't adopt her.."

Alexis: "we just think it would be better for her future to have loving parents.."

James: "fine. Do whatever. I don't care."

Elias: "we would need to get married first and we have decided a date, we would love it if you two attend with Livy and Niles."

Luke: "yeah we will be there, ima take him to his dorm now. See ya you two."

Alexis: "bye gays!"

James: "IM NOT GAY!"
