=2. The Goddess=

Xiao Bo was asleep peacefully in an empty void which has neither a start nor an end.

It was all porcelain white wherever you look. A beautiful pair of feet walked towards him.

The anklet on one of the legs had small bells attached to it which rang heavenly and resounded in the whole place as the person moved.

The feet stopped in front of Xiao Bo who was lying there in white clothes. He had a serene expression on his face.

A pretty hand that belonged to the beautiful pair of feet gently touched the fringes on Xiao Bo's face and caressed them.

"Xiao Xiao."

The voice was so gentle and it echoed throughout the place.

Xiao Bo opened his eyes slowly and was in a trance seeing an otherwordly female in front of him.

She looked so gorgeous that he couldn't take his eyes off her.

Xiao Bo put strength on his palms and lifted himself.

"Who..."

She smiled at him and patted his head.

"I am the Goddess of souls, Valeria. I am here to guide you to the celestial space."

"Oh, right. I was dead."

Xiao Bo looked down sadly remembering the last minutes of his life.

He had a very terrible death worse than a dog.

"Why...what did I...*hic* do to deserve such a gruesome death?"

He asked her with tears flowing down his cheeks, looking at her for answers.

The Goddess looked regretful, hearing him.

"Xiao Xiao, come with me."

Valeria, the Goddess extended her hand.

Xiao Bo placed his hand, and in a second they disappeared from the empty void and were in an elegant-looking humongous palace where angels were flying here and there busily.

And many other creatures that don't look human. All of them were busy like company workers working on a huge project. It was all hustle-bustle.

Valeria smiled at the confused Xiao Bo, "Perhaps you remember this place?"

Xiao Bo looked at the place once again. He remembered that he was brought here before getting transmigrated into 'Childhood Sweerhearts' novel as a Villain.

"Yes..."

Valeria nodded and guided him to a room that looked like a C.E.O.'s office, so sophisticated and spacious.

She went and sat on her seat and signed Xiao Bo to sit in front of her.

While going to the seat he noticed that an angel who looked familiar standing on the side with her head down.

He took the seat and looked at the Goddess.

"So, what'll happen to me now?"

"Before that..."

The Goddess looked at the angel who was downcasting her head.

"Mia, come here," she called her.

The angel named Mia looked at Xiao Bo and bowed to him.

"I am sorry. I deeply regret the mistake I made which caused you immense pain in this life."

Xiao Bo didn't understand what the angel was talking about so he looked at the Goddess for answers.
