After seeing Xiao Bo being hesitant to leave Maple and her kittens, Mu Chen ordered his secretary Le Yang to take them to his apartment.

Xiao Bo was surprised to hear that, "A-Are...are you gonna adopt her?"

Mu Chen gave him a light smile as he patted the Younger's head, "Yes, in that way you don't have to worry about her and her kittens, right?"

Xiao Bo nodded and smiled gaily at Maple.

"You will have a proper home now to raise your kids, I am so happy."

Xin Yi and Shen Yu beamed seeing their friend so contended. Soon the four of them reached the Wang's farmhouse.

Comprehending that the Younger was getting anxious by noticing his stiffened shoulders, Mu Chen placed his hand over Xiao Bo's shoulder gently pulling him closer.

Xiao Bo was flustered at first as he looked up at the Elder who had an assured smile on his face.

He immediately looked down biting his lips that were curving upwards involuntarily.

Mu Chen bent his head reaching the Younger's ear and whispered,

"Don't worry. This is just a family party and no one will dare to do anything to you. In any case, I am here with you."

Xiao Bo nodded his head lightly with his blushy pink-tinted cheeks not because the Elder's words were reassuring but because Mu Chen's warm breath was tingling on his nape.

Shen Yu and Xin Yi were busy searching for their families and didn't notice the both behind them.

Right before they enter the farmhouse the head butler of the Wang family, Zhi Yuan, a sixty-year-old man who was looking healthy and firm with a well-built body and muscles greeted them with an elegant bow.

"Welcome, Young Masters."

"Old Zhi, how are you doing?"

Xin Yi was cheerful to meet the old man who took care of him in the Wang's mansion.

"This old man is doing better than you young people, Young Master Feng,"

Zhi Yuan's wrinkles around his mouth crinkled as his lips raised a few degrees.

"Haha, of course, Lao(old) Zhi," Shen Yu commented.

The butler agreed with a slight nod, "Please, go inside. All the Elders are waiting for your arrival."

Xin Yi and Shen Yu walked inside first as they saw familiar faces inside.

"Is this little lad, your Fiance, Young Master?" The butler asked.

Mu Chen just gave him a nod as he walked past him with Xiao Bo in his arms who was bewildered by the elder's actions.

He turned back and gave a little bow to the butler who returned it with a smile,
