After coming back from the villa, Wei Chen didn't bother to check on his father as he was used to him throwing tantrums now and then.

But deep inside his heart, he found it strange that his father behaved rather out of his character that night and didn't come out of his room even though it was afternoon already.

Wei Chen looked up at the stairs wondering whether he should go and knock on his door but then he realized how preposterous his thoughts were.

Shaking his head, he walked out of the mansion not wanting to become soft towards the man who tormented him and his little brother all this time just for money and power.

He straight up drove to the S University and went to 'Novice Pavillion'. He called Xiao Bo informing him that he was waiting for him in front of his dorm.

It was finally the day of the brothers' date.

Wei Chen promised the younger that he would visit him often and take him out every Sunday to spend some time together but the other day they had to visit the Wangs which was why they couldn't meet up as he promised.

So, he inquired about the classes that Xiao Bo had, and knowing that he was free in the afternoon, Wei Chen decided to take him somewhere nice so they could talk heart to heart.

Wei Chen smiled as he hugged back the younger. He became relaxed seeing that Xiao Bo was doing fine despite all the events from the last day.

"Shall we go?" Wei Chen broke the hug and took the Younger's hand.

Xiao Bo nodded as he followed his elder brother and sat inside the car.

Wei Chen drove off to the 'Azalea' cafe that became recently famous due to a young skillful patissier who came from abroad after winning an international patissier championship and earned a Michelin star.

The elder already booked the whole cafe for the day as now everyone's focus was on Xiao Bo after the announcement of engagement with Mu Chen.

Wei Chen didn't want to take any chance and ruin their perfect outing with people talking behind their backs.

Li Feng Mian was in the living room of his apartment going through the file that his secretary brought, the person had big black circles around his eyes indicating his sleepless stressful night.

Not only him all his assistants were in the same condition as him due to running here and there digging information all night.

His assistants were now taking rest but he had to report the investigation findings to his boss. He planned to take a rest after this and ask for a raise to make him work all night.

When his boss called him last night ordering him to dig up information about a certain person's birth origin he was sure his boss had gone nuts.

However, when the investigation was over his fuse blew out seeing the information. So he quickly sorted out everything into a file and came to his boss's apartment with a proud face as he was sure there would be a huge bonus this time.

It was the file having the results of the investigation done on Xiao Bo's past as per his father, Li Zhao Yang's instructions last night.

After seeing Xiao Bo who looked so similar to his mother, Li Yi Ran, when she was young, Zhao Yang became suspicious of the younger's birth origin so he asked his son to do a background check quickly.
