The next morning you woke up, got dressed and went into the kitchen. To your surprise you were the first person up. You started looking for something to eat and found some pancake mix. 'Why not?' You thought to yourself with a shrug and started to put the ingredients together. Soon Sam and Dean came down. "Wow, it smells amazing here!" said Dean with a smile. You grinned and plopped two pancakes and a few slices of bacon on his plate. He grinned, grabbed a fork and started eating. Sam looked at you in surprise. "You can cook?" he asked. "I'm as surprised as you." You replied with a small laugh. You had found some syrup in a cupboard and placed it on the table. Sam grabbed some eggs you made and went and sat down. You raised an eyebrow at him and walked over and placed some more eggs and some pancakes on his plate. He rolled his eyes and you glared at him, and eventually he started eating. You gave him a small victory smirk and went back to cooking. Cas and Gabriel soon walked in. "Shit it smells good. Who knew y/n was a cook!" Gabe said with a smirk. You were slightly taken back at an archangel cursing but were able to quickly regain your composure. "Absolutely no one!" You called from the stove. Gabe walked over to you grinning. Once he was in front of you, you shoved a forkful of pancake into his mouth and handed him a plate laughing at his surprised expression. He swallowed and laughed. His laugh made you want to melt. Suddenly he stopped laughing and his smile disappeared. "What?" You asked as worry started to consume you. He reached forward and touched the side of your neck, moving some of your hair out of the way. "Where did this come from?" He asked in a tone that sent chills down your spine. "W -what?" You asked hesitantly. "This blood." He replied. Your hand flew to your neck as you pushed past him, running to your room. You slammed the door and once it was locked you rushed over to the mirror on the wall to examine your neck. You breathed a sigh of relief. 'It's just where they put the needle.' You thought. The demons didn't always place the needle in carefully so there was a small gash. You guessed that all the moving around had opened the cut. You carefully placed a band-aid on the small wound and went back to the kitchen. When you walked in all eyes flew to you and you ignored them. Gabe came over. "What was that?" He asked, clearly worried for your well-being. You shrugged it off as if it was nothing which is exactly what you told Gabe. "It's nothing, you should stop worrying so much." You replied with a small smile. Then you shoved a plate of bacon into his hands and then turned around. You heard him go and sit down and you quickly finished up the last pancake and then joined them.
