Kya hua Kartik?

Abhira asked softly standing in front of Kartik.

Kartik looked at her sharply and took a step forward.

Yeh kya kiya tumne Abhira?

Kartik asked giving her an accusing look.

Maine kya kiya?

Abhira asked. She was genuinely confused. He has been beating around the bush since last half an hour and her patience was growing thin now.

You are almost in a relationship with my brother.

Kartik spat, his voice filled with disgust as he glared at her giving her a sharp glare, his anger pulpable.

Haan toh what's the problem in it?

Abhira asked crossing her arms across her chest, locking eyes with him. She was really shocked to see the disgust in his eyes for his own brother.

Abhira Abhira... You are not getting what I'm trying to say. You can't love him

Abhira crossed her arms across her chest and looks at Kartik for a moment and said, rolling her eyes

Abhira said, her eyes carrying a hint of challenge

Kyunke woh janwer hain. He's a wild animal. Tumhe nahin pata ke woh kaise hain. Can't you see? Ya dekhna nahin chahati, he doesn't deserve you.

Abhira,s anger rose hearing him but she tried to control herself and said in a calm tone but her hands clenching and unclenching at her sides betrayed her.

I can see Kartik. Mujhe dikhta hai woh kaise hain. Kaise sab apne andar chupaye bethe hain. Kaise apne emotions ko ek strong facade ke peeche chupate hain. Maine unki ankhon mein pyaar paane ki tadap dekhi hai, unko koi aisa chahiye jo unko samajh sake. Sab dekha hai maine Kartik.

Abhira said trying to keep her voice as soft as she can

Toh hum mein se kisi ko kyun nahin dikha?

Kartik asked smirking as If challenging her to explain. Abhira curled her fingers into  fists digging her nails into her own skin. She took a long breath and replied, her voice sharp.

Shayad tumne dekhne ki koshish nahin ki ya tum dekhna hi nahin chahate thy.

Saying this, she was about to leave from there but stopped in her tracks hearing Kartik.

Bhai ke sath rahogi toh tumhari jaan ko humesha khatra rahega. Iska ek namuna tumhare sar ki patti hai....

Abhira yelled turning her head and glared at him sharply

Rahi baat unke mujhe deserve karne ki toh sahi kaha he doesn't deserve me.... He deserves the best which is not me. Agli baar unko janwer bolne se pehle yeh yaad rakhna that he's your brother.

Abhira said sharply and she left from there.

Agar agli baar aisa kuch kiya na isne toh main iski jaan le loongi.
