Traitor

Foxete's POV:

The one person who hasn't come to visit me is the person I need to see the most.

Bonnie.

He waited a week and a half before coming to see me.

"Fox?" He walks timidly into my room.
I stare him in the eyes, deadpan. "Fritz."
Even with his limited facial movements, due to being an animatronic, he always managed to show a lot of emotion.
"I'm so sorry!" He cries out.
"Not gonna cut it this time." I whisper.
He looks taken aback.
"What?"
"I said, not gonna cut it."
His eyes go wide.
"You... you have brought nothing but more pain." I hiss, my voice still at a whisper, "We told you not to go for Jab. You did it anyways. We told you to come back to the ship. My best friend died. We told you to make sure you weren't followed off of the prison plant, to check. You killed 85% of our crew."
He doesn't look at me.
"Answer me." I raise my voice slightly.
He says nothing.
"Say something!" I yell.

He begins, "I'm just a-"

I cut him off, "Kid?!" I laugh.
"Just a kid?" I shake my head, "No. Keori, is a kid. Illoha was a kid. I was a kid!"
He trembles in fear.
"You had years to grow up. Sure, you died young, but so did I. I died too Fritz! I lost my childhood too!" I scream at him.
"I was a child! An actual god damn child!"
Tears sting my eyes. I don't wipe them. No point to that.

Kaya walks in. I'm shaking with anger.

"You should leave." She indicates for Bonnie to go.
"I agree. Don't come back. Dex can deal with you." I snap.

He looks dejected, but leaves.

I slump down, tired.

"Are you alright?" She asks.
"Fine." I nod, "He's just a traitor."

It seems the only one I can truly trust is the man I once hated so much I punched him.

Seems he's the only one who truly understands. Who cares.

He is my best friend.

Dex Reynolds is my best friend.
