Joseph walked into the conference room at Ezra's pack house, his eyes scanning the room as he tried to find his friend. But then he saw him, the man who had caused trouble at the diner earlier. The man who tried to take the witch waitress against her will. Joseph's eyes narrowed as he took in Sam's presence, and he could feel his anger rising.
"You," Joseph said, his tone laced with anger.
Sam's eyes widened in surprise as he recognised Joseph as the powerful alpha he had encountered earlier. "You're that alpha from the diner," Sam said, his own voice tinged with anger.
Joseph couldn't believe that a woman snatcher like Sam could be a royal alpha. "And you're a royal?" Joseph asked with a sneer.
Sam straightened his posture, meeting Joseph's gaze. "I am," he replied, his voice firm.
Joseph scoffed, "And what kind of royal snatches women in broad daylight?"
Sam bristled at the accusation, "I don't snatch women. She was needed for a crucial mission."
Joseph didn't believe him, but he wasn't going to waste his time arguing with someone like Sam. "Whatever," he said dismissively, "just stay out of my way."
Sam narrowed his eyes, but before he could reply, Ezra walked into the room, breaking the tension between the two alphas.
Ezra walked into the conference room and immediately sensed the tension in the air. He saw Joseph and Sam glaring at each other, and he knew that something was wrong. "What's going on here?" he asked, trying to ease the tension.
Joseph turned to him and said, "I don't think we'll be able to reach any agreements here today."
Ezra was confused and looked at Sam for an explanation. "What's the problem?" he asked.
Sam replied, "This man is accusing me of being a woman snatcher. I'm a royal Alpha, and I don't appreciate being accused of such things."
Joseph scoffed. "A royal Alpha? You use your thugs to ruffle up and kidnap a woman, and you call yourself a royal? I don't think so."
Ezra could see that this argument was going nowhere, and he knew that he needed to find a way to mend the situation. "Gentlemen, let's calm down and try to find a way to resolve this peacefully," he suggested.
But Joseph and Sam continued to argue, each defending their own honour and status. Ezra realised that this was not going to be an easy task.
As the argument between Joseph and Sam grew more intense, both Alphas were fiercely determined not to back down. Ezra's attempts to calm them had fallen on deaf ears, and it seemed as if no agreement would be reached that day. Just as the tension in the room reached its breaking point, Ezra's beta burst into the conference room, panting and out of breath.
"Alpha Ezra," he gasped, "Rogues have entered our territory and they're heading for the supplies warehouse. We need you now!"
Ezra looked at Joseph and Sam, who were both breathing heavily and sweating from their heated argument. Without a word, they all rushed out of the room and towards the warehouse.
When they arrived, the scene was chaotic. Rogues were attacking the warehouse, trying to get their hands on the supplies. Ezra immediately ordered his pack to defend the warehouse, and Joseph and Sam jumped into action alongside them.
The fight was intense, but the three Alphas worked together seamlessly. They protected weaker members of the pack and fought back against the rogues with everything they had. Joseph and Sam were impressed by each other's skill and bravery in battle.
Once the last rogue had been dealt with, the three Alphas stood together, panting and covered in sweat. They looked at each other, and then Joseph and Sam shook hands.
"Respect, Alpha," Sam said, nodding at Joseph.
"Likewise," Joseph replied, nodding back.
Ezra looked at them both with relief and pride. In that moment, he knew that the unity between their packs was stronger than ever before.
