(Skip to the next chapter if you want to get to the main story. I won't mind lmao.)
Long ago, there was an immortal alien who had crashed landed on planet earth. The year was 1971 . Her ship had been hijacked by a group of aliens whose name she never picked up on and a bearded man who had an ability to hypnotise her. He then proceeded to shrink the Zexan to her death so he could take her identity and trick the fluffy grey haired man in a velvet jacket and his blonde haired friend. Unfortunately for the man, who Zena later found out whose name was The Master. (how stupid) She wasn't dead but just simply smaller.
The Master/Zena had been playing damsel in distress around this strange place filled with men in green, who fell for the trick. One was stupid enough to show him the control room where all the weapons and monitors were. He then began to hypnotise the men, including the shouty one with the moustache.
The Master had been very close to succeeding his plan to destroy the world in his new disguise when suddenly Zena began to grow back into her normal size thanks to her super quick healing status. He escaped, unfortunately, but Zena was alive and well despite being stranded on earth.
Zena was sitting on a chair at a large window that showed a view of a huge base and a hint of a field as she watched her ship be dismantled and taken away. Her lips were curled down as she rubbed her eyes tiredly. She jumped when she felt a hand on her shoulder and looked up to see the blonde, who gave her a gentle smile. "Sorry, I didn't mean to startle you. I just wanted to check that you were okay, that's all." Zena nodded and smiled weakly. "It's no worries. It's been a long day. Still a bit sore from being cramped in that silly little cage that your friend's enemy had me in." The blonde nodded and pulled a chair up so she was facing Zena. "I bet you are. It's not every day someone can survive the TCE. You sure gave him a fright. I'm Jo!" Zena grinned, relaxing and nodded. "I'm Zena. Well, it's certainly a story to tell in the future, Jo. I just hope I don't have to see that man and his silly goatee again." Jo giggled brightly as she looked out the window. "We see him all the time, I would say it's getting predictable, but that man still manages to take us off guard." Zena chuckles as she and Jo chatted for hours, swapping stories and bonding. A bubbling friendship began to form.
The sun was setting in the horizons when the Doctor finally walked into his lab. He spotted Zena with his companion and smiled. "Good to see you two getting on. You must've chatted for a long while. The sun has set." Jo looked at the clock and gasped in surprise. "Oh, it's 8 o'clock. I should've been home hours ago. Mr Fluffles will be very upset." Jo stood up and rushed about gathering her items.
Zena gave the Doctor a questioning look. "Mr Fluffles?" The Doctor Chuckles as he drinks from his mug. "It's Jo's cat. Rather, silly name if you ask me." Zena just blinked at him. The Doctor nods, remembering that Zena wasn't a human. "It's a household pet. Humans like to keep felines and other non-human creatures in their homes, such as dogs, rabbits, and other sorts of animals." Zena nods understanding. "So like what my people do with creatures such as Zeklecks, Ghelhals, and so on?" The Doctor nods,"precisely Zena. Correct me if I'm wrong. Are you Zexan?" Zena nodded as she looked up at the sky to see a particularly bright star.
Her lips widened as she grinned. She pointed at it, gesturing for the Doctor to join her. "There, that's Zexade. It's a wonderful planet. It may not be as big or as well known as the others, but it's got a charm. We have a festival called sanlazelaka. Which means the Festival of Dawn, which happens every month when our goddess of dawn greets us for the day and helps us give rays to our crops to feed our people rich and nutritious foods" The Doctor nodded, listening with great interest.
He nodded at Zena, encouraging her to continue with her story. Eyes twinkling she carried on. " We then celebrate the festival of Norkanval. Which is our good god of the stars. We have a legend that believes that he placed the stars above our heads that tells us when new life is created on our planet. But if we see a shooting star, that means an elder has passed and gone to another world in a different reality where they spend the rest of eternity with their loved ones." Jo smiled intrigued.
