This is a very short spacer chapter. Hope you'll enjoy.

Zena walked into a spare bedroom after a chaotic adventure with the Gelth. She sighed as she pulled her phone out and dialled a number. The phone rang a few times before a voice spoke through, loud music blared in the background. "Zena? What's up? Are you okay? Are you home?" Zena inhaled a breath as she smiled tiredly with a hint of nervousness. "Yes I'm okay, everything's fine Jo. I just wanted to say that I'm with the Doctor. I hope that doesn't upset you, I can try and convince him to bring you along as well if you want?" The other side was quiet for a moment.

Then Zena could hear Jo move as she walked out the building where it was quieter. "Okay I'm outside now, so I can speak to you better. One, I'm glad you're okay and that you're safe and two. I'm not upset. Look Zena. I was the one who chose to leave Unit all those years ago. I know I said I was upset about not being able to get into contact with him and the fact that he moved on so quickly. But I was a young woman then. I moved on too. I got married, had kids. Then I had grandkids and I have one amazing best friend as well. I don't want to travel with him anymore. Yes I'd love to see him more often, of course I would. He was my other friend. I miss him dreadfully. But I'm too old and too happy to travel again."

Zena chuckles. "I guess you're right Jo, I will be back home soon. It was just one trip anyway if I'm honest. I know he's asked me to join him but…we're not the same as we were all those years ago. He's different. Not just personality wise but face wise too. It's like he's a completely different person. Technically he is a different person. He told me he has the ability to change his face. Regenation he calls it." Jo hummed curiously. "Is he on his own?" Zena bit her lip. "Yes, he said he offered Rose to join him but apparently she rejected the offer to stay with her useless boyfriend." Jo sighed in thought.

Zena frowns. Feeling conflicted. "I wanna carry on travelling. But…I'm scared. It's been so long and the creatures I just met were vicious. They possessed corpses. It was like a zombie apocalypse. In 1869!!. Maybe I just need to sleep. Its been a stressful evening and me and him had a tiff as well because of the Gelth." Hours passed and Zena was yawning loudly.

Jo was also yawning loudly as well. "Okay Zee. I know you have very mixed feelings and it's obvious that the Doctor may have gone.through something difficult just like you have so personally I think you two should keep on travelling together. It's also obvious that he wanted you to join him seeing as he managed to track down the house just so that he could ask you to join him again. He was always fond of you seeing as you're also an alien that has a similar intellect as him so he can ramble to you as long as he wants as random as he likes and yet you'd still understand what he's saying." Zena smiled as Jo's words made complete sense. "You're Right Jo. I guess I will keep on travelling with him. I mean it wasn't all that bad. I got to meet Charles Dickens. I will make sure he let's me visit you often and of course I'll call you after every adventure."

Jo chuckles. "Aww you don't have to Zena. Just a simple text is good enough for me." Zena grinned. "Maybe but I'm still calling you every night. See you soon. Goodnight." Jo yawned as she mumbled a goodnight as well. Zena hung up as she then flopped backwards on the bed. She sighs as she began to smile. "God bless Jo Grant now Jones. You're a wonderful person. I'll see you soon." Zena then fell asleep peacefully.
