Kurapika Point of View-
I turned around to see Neon and another girl behind her. When they arrived down the stairs, I got a better look at the girl. She had (S/C) ((Skin Color)), (H/L) (Wavy/Straight/Curly) hair; but what caught my eyes...were her(s) [eyes]. They were (E/C), but, if you look closely, her left eye had a faint crimson hue; while her right is a (E/C) hue.
And -for a second- I thought I saw her left eye turn crimson.
"Kurapika!" Neon's voice brought me back to reality.
"Hm?" I faced her.
"This is my best friend, (Y/N) !" She pointed to the (H/C)-haired girl named (Y/N).
She turned to (Y/N),"This is Kurapika, my bodyguard!" She pointed at me.
"Uh, hi.." She said meekly. "Neon told me a lot about you, Kurapika." She said, trying out my name.
I hummed, "She talks a lot about you a lot as well, (Y/N)."
"I see.." She said meekly and starts to look down to the floor, playing with her hands.
"Well, this is awkward." I mumbled. "Huh?" She looks up from the floor and looks at me, confused.
"Ah, nothing." "Umm, do you like books??" I smiled. "Of course!!" She smiled as well.
And then we started talking about many books.
--Time Skip--
After talking about books, (Y/N) brought up a sour topic. . .
"Kurapika-san." Her voice sounded serious, "Yes?" I turned to her.
"D-do you know. . ." She looked down to her lap as she cut off her sentence.
"Know what?" I stared at her intently.
She looked up and said, "Do you know the Genei Ryodan ?" When she asked that, I stared her.
Her eyes, full of determination; I had a sudden feeling in my chest that told me that I could trust her. I pursed my lips and nodded firmly.
"I was part of the Kurta Clan--" her eyes widened "--they massacred them--" "All 128. . ." (Y/N) broke in. I nodded, surprised that she knew, possibly meaning that she is also. .
I shook my head and continued," Once I came back, I was enraged at what I saw. There was also a message that said, ' You can't steal from us; but. . .we can steal from you. '
That was when I told myself that I would take back my brethrens' eyes." My eye sight began to envelope with the color red.
" Heh. . Guess we're in the same boat huh?"
" Yes, and may I ask, how do you know this as well??"
"Well. . I'm part. . . Kurtan. On my father's side." She pointed out.
" I see --Sigh-- guess we are in the same scenario." I sighed.
" Ne, Kurapika-san, do you know Nen?"
(Y/N) asked shy. I blinked, "Why?"
" Uh. . I want to learn how to use Nen and know what it is!" I looked at her.
"I guess I could teach you. Do you knoa your Nen type??"
She sweat-dropped, " N-no. ."
I sighed. " Alright, I will teach you the basics of it."
(Y/N)'s eyes lit up and she jumped off the couch and put her fist up
"Alright!"
I chuckled at her.
