Chapter 8

Clayton

"Angel." CJ called back his dog before the little mutt got too far. CJ and Alice came to the fair a little early to help make sure everything was set before people started to come. They also brought their dog, Angel, with them so she would get used to people, but all the little terror did was jump onto the bouncy castle and chase the little brats around. "Damn dog."

"Be nice." Alice ordered once Angel came back to them, panting with her tongue hanging out. "She's having fun."

CJ only hummed and looked towards the parking lot when he heard the engine roar of three bikes. He saw Jax, leading Tig and Bobby, but Bobby was dressed in his white Elvis costume with the wig stuffed under his helmet. He and Alice got up to greet them, and in doing so, he saw Kyle step out of a new truck with a hot young blond around his arm.

April and her children were coming out of their car as well, with Kyle's daughter running towards him with a wide smile, yelling "Daddy!" Kyle scooped her into a hug and CJ sighed a little before Alice took his hand.

"You alright?" Alice asked. CJ looked at her and smiled softly before nodding. He looked back to Kyle who looked to be arguing with April, most likely about him bringing the blond who looked to be only slightly older than his son.

CJ and Alice walked over to the guys where CJ started to chuckle upon seeing Bobby in his full 'glory.' "I'm surprised you can still fit in that."

"Fuck off." Bobby said before speed walking towards his booth where he was supposed to be an hour ago.

"Is Opie here?" Jax asked CJ.

"Not yet." CJ sighed and looked at Kyle's truck. "Didn't think he'd get a cage."

"Cage?" Alice asked.

"It's what we call cars." Jax said before looking down at her belly. "How's JJ doing?" Arthur raised a brow and Jax threw him a smirk. "You know, Jax Jr, after his father."

CJ scoffed and put Jax into a head lock while the blond man threw pulled punches into CJ's stomach. The two 'danced around the parking lot for a minute before they heard heavy footsteps running towards them. The two turned and saw Opie running at them. They weren't able to untangle in time and Opie tackled them into a bush, causing all three to burst out into laughter with Alice and Donna shaking their heads like annoyed mothers.

Kenny then ran over and jumped on top of CJ, making the redhead gasp and cough before he grabbed the little Winston brat and got up. He flung the little brat around while he was squirming and screaming with laughter... or maybe fear. "This anyway to greet your uncle, you little brat?" CJ asked before he put him down. Kenny, through a dizzy daze, managed to walk over to his mother. "Hey Donna." CJ said while greeting her with a kiss to the cheek. "How y'all doin'?"

"We're doin' fine, Clayton." Donna said with a smile before looking over to Kyle who was unloading a cooler from his truck. "Isn't that gut Sam Crow?"

"Not anymore." Opie said.

"He got out?" Donna asked.

"Hey Alice." CJ spoke up before Opie got too uncomfortable. "Why don't you take Donna and the kids over to where we are watching the fireworks." He then looked at Kenny and Ellie. "We're so close to the show by the time it's over we won't have eyebrows left."

"Really?!" Kenny asked excitedly.

"Fu- uh hell yeah!" CJ yelled before high fiving Kenny and messing up Ellie's hair. "Go on." Alice took Ellie's calm hand while Donna took Kenny's hyper-active hand. Alice turned back to smile at him while he mouthed the words 'thank you' to her. "Does she know about Kyle?" CJ asks Opie.
