"I was in the garage waiting for you two." Piney explains while they lowered the barrels off of the truck. "I just called Nate to confirm the meet. I never thought anything like this would happen."

CJ sighed as he put the oil barrel on the dolly so Opie could take it to the shed for storage. "You had no idea what they were up to, Pop." Opie told his father.

"I don't get off that easy though." Piney says, looking ashamed. "I let friendship interfere with business. I know better."

"You gotta reach out to them, Piney." Jax spoke for the first time since Clay was arrested. He's been lost in his head, thinking about how to play this out while CJ took care of the shipment of guns that were meant for the Niners. His head was also a mess, thinking of his father being in jail, Alice being humiliated, and Rita being here, CJ needed to be distracted.

"We need to find these guys before the feds do." Jax continues.

"Nate would not rat on me." Piney said.

"No, but his dipshit kid sure as hell will." CJ pointed out, thinking back to the asshole who tried to cheat them out of more money.

"It's just a matter of time before the feds connect you to Nate and come after you too." Opie says, making CJ's eyes widen. The young man forgot about that connection, Piney and Nate serving together in Nam.

"You know, Opie, I don't give a shit." Piney said with a hollow laugh. "How's that?"

"Yeah, well, I do." Jax says with a little heat in his voice before turning to Opie. "Take him to the cabin."

"Oh, so you're calling the shots now, huh?" Piney asks as if he was speaking to a kid.

"Till Clay gets out, V. P. patch means this shit lands on my back." Jax reminds him.

"Yeah..." Piney looked at Jax, Opie, and CJ and nodded slowly. "The backs of children."

Piney walked away and CJ leaned against the back of the truck, needing some time to think. "He's just pissed at himself." Opie told them.

"Well, the old dude saved his ass in Khe Sanh." Jax shrugged. "But the rest of that crew... Killing cops and innocents?"

"We'll find them." Opie said before following his father towards the bikes.

CJ turned around the truck and looked right at the cops who were tasked with observing them. Bobby walked over at that time, looking tired from all the bullshit that's been happening that day. "Hey, you call Trammel?" Jax asked the Treasurer.

"Trammel called us, looking for Clay." Bobby said.

"Good." Jax nodded and looked at CJ who was still looking at the cops.

"No way we're getting these guns to Laroy with the feds there." CJ said softly. He looked over at Jax and then saw Halfsack by the office, sweeping the floor when an idea popped into his head. "I got an idea. Can you handle the survivalist nuts? I can handle getting the guns out."

"How?" Jax asked.

"Just trust me." CJ said with a smile before running towards the office. "Scotty!" CJ yelled, calling out for Chibs who was working on a car. "Come here! Halfsack, I need you t-"

"Look, man I'm really sorry about-"

"Shut. Up." CJ said calmly. "Go to the club house and get duct tape and a box of trash bags." Halfsack looked confused but did what he was told to while CJ sat down to look for the phone number of the septic guy.
