The wind crashes against the window pane, waking me from my dream. My head is throbbing from the inside out. This allows me to have unsightly nightmares. I would be running toward a distant light, but was forbidden to move, shrills would come from the darkness. Cato. My twin brother. He protects me from all danger. He would scream my name, "Cata! Cata!" I would scream back in fear and needing of a comforting hug. Nothing. Not a word would come from me. I was nothing. I was lost.

I look out across the sky. The position of the moon informs me of the time. 1:00am. I tempt myself to fall back asleep, but I am terrified of the dreams. Finally, I can't take it anymore. It is the same dreams every night, so I know what is going to occur. I lay my throbbing head against the pillow and once again fell asleep.

Immediately I am in darkness everywhere. I attempt to walk, and is over taken that I can. I see the light. My feet begin to run faster and faster to it. Then, I am a few feet away. I approach the small light, just to see it is candles circling an object. I look closer. Then I see it. Cato. Hung up by his neck with blood submerging from his body. I awake in terror with a shriek. Cato runs to me instantly it seems, which was amazing considering we were on opposite sides of the hall.

"What happened!?" Cato asked with extreme concern. I gave him a look that said "an unbearable nightmare again". He walked up to me and held me close to him. I felt safe. Warm. Loved.

"Want to talk about it?" He asked knowing I would say yes, and what the dream would be about.

"No," I replied.

"Was it the same dream?" Cato was in shock with my answer, and immediately became concern again.

"No. It was worse. Way worse. Unbearable in fact,"I said in a shaky voice. My eyes lead me to the window. Morning. The day has begun.
