Baby sitting with Ethan

It was a normal summer day, and you had to babysit your neighbor, Cassie. She was an adorable two year old. The only bad thing about babysitting every day, is that you can't see you boyfriend, Ethan very often. It was about one o'clock when you put Cassie down for a nap. Then you started texting Ethan.

Me: Hey

Eth😍💞: Hey babe, I thought you were babysitting.

Me: I am, but Cassie's asleep

Eth😍💞: Aww Cassie is so cute

Me: Ha I know

Eth😍💞:Can I come over?

Me: I think that would be ok😉

Eth😍💞: Good I'll be over in a few.

Ethan knocked on the door and I ran to open it. I hugged him, and then told him to be quiet. He laughed and then kissed me on the cheek. We sat on the couch watching Pretty Little Liars, we were so close together, it was considered cuddling. Then I hear Cassie crying.

"Oh crap" I mumbled.

I walked to Cassie room, and Ethan was following me, I cracked the door open and saw Cassie looking at us with awe in her eyes. Ethan smiled, and walked up to her crib. She looked so tired, yet so excited to see Ethan. She has seen Ethan before, but not in a while. He picked Cassie up, and twirled her around. I laughed thinking about me and Ethan's future, he was so good with kids, I loved that about him.
"So what do you wanna do today" I asked.

"We should go swimming" Ethan said.

"Ok let me text Carrie(Cassie's mom) just to make sure." I said.

I texted Carrie, and she said that it was fine, but Cassie didn't have a swimming suit that fit her. I said it was fine, and we'll just go shopping.

"Yay the pool" Ethan said screaming.

Me and Cassie both laughed at him. He lifted Cassie up, and walked over to me. He kissed my cheek, and whispered in my ear,

"This could be us one day"

I have been thinking about that all day, and apparently, he has too. He got Cassie into her car seat, and we left to go get her a swimming suit, I needed one too, so I just picked a black bikini, with chevron bottoms. Ethan picked out the bottoms. He had to get some for himself so he just picked the first one he saw, plain purple, swim trunks. We paid, and then went to the pool. I changed in the girls locker room, with Cassie, and I told Ethan that we'll be out in a few. We got dressed and I got my sunglasses and sunscreen out of the bag. I walked out and Ethan was waiting. He walked closer to me, and said,

"You look so hot"

I blushed a little, and he knew it too. I put sunscreen on Cassie, and me, but Ethan was to much a baby to put any on. We got into the pool together playing around together. We played with the floaty toys and water guns. Cassie was way too young to do anything so we just sat there. Ethan splashes me and I splash him back, this turns out to be a full on war. He picked up Cassie, and started walking off with her.

"My baby" he yelled.

"Nuh Uhh" I said.

"Wait, never mind I have two babies" he says turning and giving me a kiss.

It got really late, and we all got tired, so we drove home, and I fed Cassie supper, then her mom came home.

"Hey y/n I'm home" Carrie yelled.

"Hi Carrie were in the kitchen" I yelled back.

She walked in and saw Ethan sitting really close to me.

"Oh, hi. Who's this?" She asked staring at Ethan.

"Oh um hi, I'm just her friend" he says.

I stare at him, and he shrugs.

"Oh ok" she said.

Carrie was a cool mom, she took me outside with Ethan watching over Cassie.

"So you have a friend in there huh" she says winking.

"Yeah i suppose so" I answer.

"More of a friend" she asked.

"We're actually dating" I said laughing.

"Oh I see" she said.

"His name is Ethan" I say.

"Well you two look adorable together" she says approvingly.

"Aww thanks Carrie" I reply.

She gave me my check, and told me to go get Ethan and go have fun, but not too much fun. So I went inside and got my things and my keys and I told Ethan to come.
He drove separately, but he still came to my house, we watched movies, and cuddled, through the whole movie, I was thinking about Ethan as a father, and I smiled.
