Comforting Grayson

It was a day that your boyfriend Grayson has been dreading for a month. Uhh he was such a baby, he hated shots, even I didn't mind shots, and I was afraid of most things Grayson wasn't.

We were driving to the doctors office, and I drove him because he says he can't drive while he's hyperventilating, which he was. I laughed a little because it was funny watching him freak out.

"Stop laughing man" he said.

"I'm not laughing babe" I laughed again.

"Yes you are you meanie" he says with a baby voice.

The volume was pretty loud, playing trap queen, so it might calm him down a bit. For some odd reason he likes music like that to calm his nerves.

"It's just one shot Gray, stop crying like a baby" I said.
"Exactly one shot going into my arm, and shooting fluid, that's a little scary if you ask me" he said.
"You won't even feel it, babe. I'll be right next to you the whole time" I said comforting him.
"Will you hold my hand"
"Of course Gray, I love you so dang much" I said.

We got to the hospital, and we got out of the car, and he squeezed my hand, until I couldn't feel it any more. I walked in and took in the smell of the doctors office. I checked Grayson in, while he was still holding my hand.
"Alrighty, please take a seat, and a nurse will call you in" she said.
"Thank you" I said.
"Your welcome honey" she said.

We walked to the sitting area, it was pretty much empty, with an old lady, and a little kid with his mom. We sat in the corner waiting for the nurse to call us back. I could feel Gray's hand getting really sweaty, and a little shaky. I kissed his cheek, because that always calmed him down. The old lady then came up to us and said,
"You two are so cute together"
"Thanks" I said smiling at her.

She walked out, and I looked at Grayson and said,
"She probably thinks I'm the man in this relationship"

"Nuh uh, only when it comes to shots"

"Okay whatever" I said rolling my eyes.

"Grayson Dolan" the nurse called.

I got up and he followed, the nurse took us to a room, and told us that she'll be right back. We waited for about a minute or two, then she came back and told Grayson to sit on the bed thing. He never let go of my hand so, I had to go with him. It was only a flu shot, so he only had to get one, but I could only imagine how freaked out he would be if he had to take multiple shots. I held his hand and he squeezed it back, as usual she came over to Grayson with the wipes to clean his arms. He jumped when the nurse touched him with to wipe. I laughed a little.
"Hey don't laugh, it was colddd" he whined.

"I didn't laugh Gray" I said.

"Yes you were y/n" he said.

She brought out the shot, and Gray's eyes got bigger.
"Look into my eyes" I said.

"Ok ok ok ok ok ok" he said nervously.

He starred me in the eyes, and I couldn't help, but admiring his beautiful eyes.

"Three.. Two..." The nurse said.

Then the shot was in but he never looked away. The nurse was smart, and quick. She put a band aid on his shot, and said,
"Do you want a sucker hun"

We laughed and then he got serious.
"Yes, yes I do"
We laughed even harder, once we were done, and Gray got his sucker, we left and he kissed me for about ten seconds. He starred at me, and it made me self conscious.
"What?"

"Thank you, y/n" he said.

"No problem, babe" I said running to the car.

We laughed and went home, and I kissed his band aid, and he laughed.
