Carnival with Ethan

You and Ethan have been dating for about two years now, ever since seventh grade, when he asked you out on a Ferris wheel, other than that, that night did not go over so well.
{FLASHBACK}

It was the summer between seventh, and eighth grade, and every year our town has a big Carnival, you went with a bunch of friends, and the boys had there own little group. Everybody knew that you liked Ethan, but you didn't think that Ethan liked you back. All of your friends dragged you to the Farris wheel, which you weren't happy with in the first place. Apparently, all of Ethan's friends set this up, for us to sit together. We had kind of been friends before, but nothing more. You were really scared of heights, and Ethan could see that so he held your hand, and you squeezed back tightly. He laughed a little, which calmed you down, because his laugh was so cute. You getting closer to the top, and Ethan has been staring at you the whole way up. Then all of a sudden you here him mumble,
"Will you go out with me?"

"What?" You said not catching a word he had said.

"Will you go out with me?" He said a little louder now.

You could feel your checks get red, and your face grew a smile.

"Yes, of course" you said in a screech.

He hugged you and moved closer to you, so there was about an inch between you two. You were so close to the top, still squeezing Ethan's hand to death, until it stopped. Your heart started beating, and Ethan knew you were going to have a panic attack. He tried to calm you down, but it wasn't working. You put your arms around Ethan's waist, and he wrapped his around you. You felt secure in his muscular arms. But we're still freaking scared. Ethan was more calm, and seemed to smile at your cuteness, but you could tell he was nervous too. He comforted you for about five minutes, until you heard a switch and the Ferris wheel started again. Ever since that day you have never been on a Ferris wheel.

{End of FLASHBACK}

Y/N P.O.V

"Hey babe, guess what?" Ethan asked while walking up to me.

"What?" I asked.

"HAPPY TWO YEAR ANNIVERSARY" he yelled before he kissed my cheek.

"Aww babe, I love you" I replied.

"Now, I'm taking you somewhere special" he says.

"Wait what? Where? When?" I threw question at him.

"You'll see babe, just be ready in twenty" he said walking away.

I hated being in the dark. I wanted him to tell me so bad. Ughhh why does he do this to me.

After twenty minutes I hear the doorbell ring. I run downstairs, I wore a hot pink tank top, with high waisted shorts, with my black vans. I grabbed my phone and ran to Ethan's car.

"Seriously, where are we going" I asked nervously.

"You see babe" he replied.

He held my hand, and we drove for about twenty minutes. I finally realized that the carnival was here today, my heart dropped.

"No Ethan, no please" I said.

"C'mon Y/N, it'll be fun." He replied.

"Whatever" I replied quietly.

My hand got sweaty, and Ethan could tell so he said,

"Babe it's ok, we'll have fun" he said in a worried voice.

I didn't answer I just held his hand even tighter. Once we got there we played most of the games, and then went on some rides, it was pretty late now, and I was tired of walking around. So Ethan offered a piggy back ride. I accepted , and got on his back. I knew exactly where he was taking me, but I didn't have enough energy to stop him. We got in line for the Ferris wheel, and I had to just face my fear. We got closer and closer to the front of the line, and I started breathing hard, and shaking.

"You'll do fine, I'll be here for you." He comforted me.

"I love you so much" I answered.

We were next, and we sat down. Right away I grabbed his waist, tightly. I wrapped his arms around me and it reminded me about seventh grade. It made me feel a little better. We got through the Ferris wheel with no problems.

"See you goofball it's not that scary" he said after we got off.

"I love you, always" I answered.

"I love you too" he replied as we kissed in the middle of the carnival.
