Chapter 46

Turkey

My powers began to go haywire again, this time it wasn't off of emotions. I felt the stinging pain consume my fingers, at first, I thought it was just me rubbing my fingers raw against the tree bark, but then I realized I had kept one arm around Georgia's neck the entire trip.

Without thinking, I shoved Georgia off me, pushing him a bit too hard which ended up knocking him into a tree, he yelp in shock before sending me a glare. I returned his glare with a look of worry and he instantly understood.

"Woah, Turkey." I looked over at Egypt who spoke, seconds later the entire group stared at me and Georgia, and before anyone could ask questions I bolted off, finding an empty piece of forest. Georgia followed me to this spot

"Fuck..." I sat down on the ground, pressing my fingers together. No matter what I did in this situation, I'd be forced to let the crystals spread until they'd stop.

To my surprise, the ground began to cover in larger crystals that jolted up from the ground. The crystals quickly spread over the ground forcing Georgia to back away from me.

Soon enough the crystals had spread to my arms, blood began to ooze through cracks in the crystals giving them the red look. I took off my shirt and wrapped it around my bleeding arm, it was a rather sunny day so I wasn't too cold.

"Turkey! We really need to get this worked out!" Georgia yelled out as the crystals stopped growing on the ground yet continued to grow up my arms.

"Tell me about it, George! I'm the one who is fucking hurting here!"

We rounded the corner sharply, trying to get to Chile as fast as we could but obviously, it wasn't fast enough.

By the time we had gotten to him, he was already dead, or so it seemed. He lay against the wall, his arm draped to his side, one of his legs was up while the other was laid against the ground. His head though was hung over, drooping lifelessly in front of his body, this gave me the conclusion that he was dead.

"Holy fu..." I took a sharp breath while Belarus slapped her hands over her mouth, fear filled our faces as WHO bolted towards Chile.

"Is he..." WHO looked over at us.

"He is barely breathing, barely holding onto life..." Belarus took a step forward, she took a breath before speaking.

"What is wrong with him?" WHO shook her head, looking back at Chile who stayed lifeless on the floor.

"I can't tell from the outside...." She paused "Can you two help me get him into my room, we are going to go into immediate surgery.

"Do you even have the license to do that?" I accidentally spoke out loud and WHO sent me a glare. Belarus rushed over to help as I began to make my way toward them.

"Yes I do have a license," she whispered under her breath, annoyance filling those words. I nodded, regretting asking.

Together, WHO, Belarus and I picked up Chile's body, carefully taking him towards WHO's office; gently not to hurt him any worse than he already was.

"What are you going to do?" WHO shook her head and looked at his face which she was holding, WHO's face distorted into worry and doubt.

"I don't know... I don't even know what's wrong with him-" I gasped when his shirt moved up a bit, A huge nasty black and purple bruise revealed itself. This bruise took over his entire side and extended across his waist.

"What is it?!" WHO practically screamed at me as I resisted the urge to let out my lunch. I shook my head as we entered WHO's room, Belarus seemed curious as well about what I was seeing
