Although I was pissed, It was time to watch Kay tryout so I tried to push my emotions aside.

Once me and Lisa finished changing, we met back with the boys in the gym this time as girls were getting ready.

"You did amazing!" Sunoo cheered when we walked in,

"Good job Tuna, and Chi chi!" Niki smiled,

"You're gonna get as good as you were last year Chi chi, don't worry." Jay reassured me,

"Thank you boys." Lisa smiled at them all.

I went over and sat down, Jake came over and sat beside me.

"You okay?" he asked, "I'm fine."

"You did fucking amazing." He whispered in my ear, sending shivers down my spine,

"Thank you Jakey." I poked his cheek and he giggled.

We paid attention as Kay ran in the gym, she looked so good in her volleyball fit, her number was 09.

She smiled at us and waved, we waved back and Niki cheered.

She went on her side of the net, "Okay! Let's start. Whatever side can keep the ball up the most, wins! And whoever loses, needs more practice." The coach yelled out,

Kay shook her hands as she prepared. The other side of the net, the girl on the other side grabbed the ball.

She threw it up and hit it, the girl on Kay's side hit it back,

It then went flying right back and Kay jumped quickly and hit it down to the floor.

"Wooo!!" I cheer and everyone clapped.

"Nice one Kay!" the coach clapped, "That's my girl!" Niki shouted.

Another round began, and the girl then hit the ball hard on Kay's head.

She stumbled back, "Fuck fuck fuck." I whisper, Kay shook it off and stood back up,

She hit the ball in the air and, "Score once again!" The coach yelled,

"Kay has got to be our best player this year!" Coach smiled at her, she gave her a high five and the boys cheered.

I finally got my things and was about to walk home until I heard someone call my name.

"Jake." I say turned around, "Let me take you home? It's 6 and I don't want you walking late." He offered.

"No im fine." I smiled and went back to walking, "No, i'm taking you home." Jake grabbed my arm very gently and pulled me to his car.

"Ugh! Why does everyone drag me around!!" I whine,

"You'll be okay." Jake smiled and pat my head, before we got in,

"Jake!" I heard a girl call, I looked over and saw Melina running over.

I sighed.

"Could you please give me a ride home? I know we're done but.. my foot hurts from that crazy good kick I just did." She giggled looking at me.

Jake looked at me, then back at her, "Hop in." He smiled and opened the back door for her,

"Why thank you." she nod and got in, I got in the car and got on my phone.

"Where u headed?" He asks her, "Just over riverside!" She says, riverside?? that's where the rich people live.

"Got it." Jake said, "I'll drop Scarlett off first." He says,

"No it's fine I can wai-"

"No, you'll get dropped off first. I know you're tired." He smiled at me, "Thank you." I smile back.
