-jakes POV-

"Why won't she answer?!" I shout and threw my phone on the couch,

"Maybe because she's suspended?" Jay shrugged siting on the couch,

"Yeah but her mom isn't the type to take her phone." I sighed and flopped on the couch.

"Dude, you gotta give her some space." Niki sighed, "I cant give her space. I need to be with her all the time. In her skin." I mumbled into my pillow.

"I feel like shit."

"Jake! Come on man, she's  suspended for 3 days and it's only been 1 and this is how your acting!" Sunoo slapped my arm,

"Maybe these 3 days will be good for you to.. reset?" Jungwon shrugged,

"Who are you all talking about that's making you go crazy like this?" I heard a familiar voice, I quickly looked up,

"Mom!" I shouted and quickly ran over to her, "Oh-!" she says quickly catching me in her arms.

"Hii Ms. Sim!" the boys bowed and waved,

"Hello boys. It's nice to see everyone's faces again." She smiled, I let go of her, "Where have you been! You were supposed to be back a week ago!?" I ask,

"I'm sorry? Did I have a curfew?" she chuckled, "Yes." I nod,

"I was busy doing more work. Selling houses, you know.. that kind of thing." She smiled, "Who we're you guys talking about though?" she then asks,

"Scarlettt." Heeseung said in a sarcastic voice, "His secret admirer!" Sunghoon added on, making Heeseung laugh.

"You remember her." I rolled my eyes, "Oh! That cutie! Where is she? How is she?" my mom face lit up,

"Suspended." I scoff and fell back down on the couch, "What happened?" she asked,

"She got in a fight with that girl Melina, you met before you left for the summer." Jay explained,

"Jake." She placed her hands on her hips, "Are you included in the reason why they fought?" she asked,

-scarlett's POV-

I hated making my mom mad. these past days i've been locked in the house, she's been more upset and distant.

I know she was mad about the fight but.. it wasn't my fault. I let my anger get the best of me.

She took my phone so I could think about what I did. Which I was loosing my mind about. I needed my phone so bad.

I went downstairs and saw my mom drinking tea in the kitchen.

"Hi mama." I waved, she waved back and continued drinking.

"I have to talk to you." she frowned, "What's wrong?" I ask sitting across from her.

"Your dad.. he." She sighed, "He wants you to go and live with him for a while." she spat out,

My heart sank, nonono..

"What!? No! I don't wanna go there." I say, I would rather be anywhere else but with him, he's a drunk now. It's not the best.

"I know but.. i'm struggling with money and being able to feed you. I need time to stack up my money until I can take you back in." She says with a genuine look in her face.

I felt my eyes tearing up, "But.. school?" I ask, "You can still go! Just a different route."

This was gonna change literally everything.
