Y/N's P.O.V
It had been a few hours since we all split up for our thirst for information. I spent more time than I thought I had in the arcade. That Block Blitz is just too addictive! However, it can't deter me from my orders!
I raced to the battle theatre where a business man stopped me.
"Let's battle! And I won't take no for an answer."
I beat him easily but something still seemed off about him after I headed in to collect my friends' tickets. I called Lucy on my Loomiwatch and told her I succeeded. In return, she asked me to gather everyone and meet outside of the museum, like we had planned beforehand.
Finding Mabel and Jake was easy; they were only in the designer shop near me. Lucy was in the living district with her aunt. We taught some "delinquents" a lesson about messing with stray loomians and Lucy got herself a Vari.
Now was the final task of finding her twin brother: Lucas.
He said he'd be in the new noodle house, Chowing Chopsticks or whatever. I walked into the building to see Lucas at the reception. Guess he got a little lost along the way.
"Table for one?"
"Yea-" the blondie turned around.
"Y/N! Glad you could join me," he grinned, sending a flurry of butterflies through my stomach. "Table for two, actually."We were seated and given a menu. I started looking through the menu when Lucas started to talk.
"I haven't been to a fancy restaurant like this in a while," he stated. "I love to sit and watch them make the meal in font of you!"
"Same. My parents' jobs can get kinda hectic so we don't always have that much spare time." I responded.
"You know, if I'm being honest, I didn't really plan to do any investigating when I came here." He admitted. I looked at him, disapprovingly.
"I know, I know.. we're supposed to be searching the city for signs of the stones but, it's still important to take time for fun and discoveries. Know what I mean?""Yeah, I guess." I replied, returning my gaze to the menu.
"Just uhh... don't tell Luce I came here just to eat. She's a lot more serious about that kind of thing than I am. When I start getting hungry, I lose focus easily."
I smiled. It always amused me how, no matter how much Lucy and Lucas look alike, they could still be opposites in certain situations.
"Don't get me wrong though! Lucy knows how to have fun. But if she's got an important task, she's usually pretty lazer-focused on it." He frowned, slightly.
"Yeah, I can relate to that," I said. I felt Lucas's gaze settle on me, making my cheeks heat up. "Ever since I started my journey, I haven't really taken the time to have fun with it. Even challenging the Battle Theatres has only to become stronger in order to protect everyone from the corruption of the stones. Don't get me wrong, I've been having fun at some points in my journey, but not as much as I could have, you know?"
I looked to Lucas for reassurance but was met with eyes, gazing at me in a way I've never seen before. I, quickly refocused my eyes on the menu.
"When it was mainly up to me to find the stones, the mission seemed so... big. Having to travel across the region to find the pieces of the stone tablet and deal with powerful corrupted loomians by myself.. it felt kinda intense sometimes. But having you, Lucy, Mabel and Jake to help out now has definitely taken soo much pressure off my shoulders. I even played some games at the arcade before getting the tickets for the Battle Theatre. I guess what I'm trying to say is thanks... for everything."
