"We should get up." Adrien's soft voice reels me in, forcing my eyes to peel open and take in the sunlight pouring in through his large windows.

"Mmm." I reply, letting him know I'm listening. I'm in his room, cuddled up with him in his bed. The events from last night flood my mind, reminding me of Lila and the fact she tried to kill me.

However, I don't stink. I peer down at my clothes and see I've been changed into new attire. My cheeks burn hot when I think of who must have cleaned me up and changed me.

"Alya wiped you down as best as she could, and changed your clothes for you. She said you're still going to want a proper shower though." Adrien chuckles, as if hearing my thoughts.

"Oh." I look up at him, seeing the way he watches me with such caring eyes.

"I love you." He whispers, leaning down to kiss my forehead. "I can't get enough of saying it."

"I love you too, Adrien. I'm so sorry for how everything has been lately." I snuggle in closer to him, basking in his warmth. His hold tightens around me, making me feel so safe and protected.

"None of it is your fault, don't worry about it. We're going to get through this together." His words are the embodiment of strength, however his voice trembles.

It breaks my heart knowing that he feels like he can't show how much this is effecting him.

"Together. Always."

"Together. Always." A voice mocks me, making both Adrien and I jump. He springs out of bed first, getting between me and the culprit that snuck in.

"Felix? What the hell, man?" Adrien shoots back, and I emerge from the bed in clothes that clearly belong to Adrien and absolutely swallows me whole. I look ridiculous. Mortifyingly ridiculous.

"I wasn't aware you two would be all cuddly and what not. We have a big issue." Felix whips out Adrien's desk chair and pulls it up to the bed, sitting down stiffly. Adrien and I take a seat on the mattress, watching him carefully.

"So," Felix begins, looking at us a little too calmly for someone who just announced that we have a big issue at hand, "my mom is working with Gabriel."

"What?" Adrien and I both say in unison, the shock in my voice mixed with the hurt in his.

Can't one member of his family do the right thing?

"Yup. She pulled me aside, obviously thinking I'm you, and talked to me about it. She said, and I quote, 'Adrien, I know you're close with Ladybug. You need to convince her to give up her Miraculous so we can save your mom, and then this will all be over'. Well, she tossed in a lot of lovey-dovey stuff too like 'oh Adrien, you know we all love you. We want to bring back your mother, your father means well'. All that bullshit."

"Did she say where he is?" Adrien stares down Felix with a determination in his eyes that wasn't there previously. The fire being lit once again, the urge to take his father down overpowering his sadness.

"Yeah, he's at our cottage in Chinon. The one that runs along the Vienne River. When he called my mom about the whole ordeal, that's when she decided to hide him and help his cause. She wasn't previously aware that he was Hawkmoth." Felix admits, his legs bouncing up and down. If it wasn't for his nervous jitters, I would have assumed he's entirely emotionless to this whole situation.

"Why would she agree to hide him?" Adrien looks hurt, making Felix sigh.

"Adrien, your mom is her twin sister. Of course she wants her sister back."

"What are we going to do?" I finally pipe up, watching the two boys who are spitting images of each other both furrow their eyebrows in unison. Adrien looks more pained, while Felix looks lost in thought.
