Chapter Two

"It's now or never, Madison" I thought. "Come on quit being such a wuss" my wolf Winter spoke up. "Uh huh, so now you speak?" I say cutting off the connection not wanting to hear her sassy remark. I walked up to the porch and knocked on the door. The door started to open and

"Madison oh my god! Dear you look so lovely! How was the drive?!?" "It was fine Aunt Mae thanks."

After hours of talking in the living room non-stop, she showed me to my room. Taking out the last of my stuff, I set it on a shelf and walked downstairs. "Night Aunt Mae" I yelled. "Goodnight."

"Beep! Beep! Beep!" I slammed my alarm clock almost breaking it in the process. I got up and took a shower, did my makeup, and put on black ripped skinny jeans, an army shirt, and a camo
jacket.

Walking out the door I left a note for Aunt Mae telling her i made waffles and to have a good day. I hoped into my black corvette and drove off to school, blasting music.

When I got to school everyone was staring at me which didn't help the fact that I already didn't have any friends.

"Madison Spencer" I said while walking into the office, grabbing my schedule and locker number. After asking at least five people where my locker was I finally got to it. "Great" I thought "popular people are next to me"

I walked into my first class and the first thing my wolf screamed was
"Mate"
"Mate"
"Mate"
Attempting to control her urge to go and create a full on make-out-session,
I sat down next to him in the back of the room. While the teacher was giving out notes to write down, I was sketching.

"You're really good" my mate said. Curiously I asked what his name was so I didn't have to keep calling him "mate". "My names Xavier Reed, Alpha of the Nightwalker pack. Also your mate"

Great. Not only did I have to deal with a controlling mate, I had to deal with being a Luna and having an overprotective mate. The bell rang and I sprinted out of the class, not wanting to have to deal with Xavier. "Hey! Madison wait up" he yelled across the hall.

When he caught up to me I was already at my locker and just said that I didn't want to be late for my next class. He just nodded and walked away probably going to his locker. After exchanging my math books with my ELA books, I shut my locker and started to walk down the hallway.

As I was walking I got pushed into the wall, my books and papers flying everywhere. "Watch where you're going, bitch" "oh um I'm sorry" "yea you better be. And while you're at it, stay away from my boyfriend" "sorry, what? I haven't talked to anyone today." "mhm well I say you talking to Xavier, so stay away from him, hoe" she said walking away with her minions.

Well that was a great start to my day I said waking to my next class, ELA.
Heading into the door, luckily I noticed I was one of the first people here so I sat in the way back, grabbing my sketchbook out. After one long, boring class, I got to go to lunch and finally have some time alone, without teachers.

Walking down the hall, I pushed open the doors and saw the unexpected. Xavier and Amanda, aka the missing Oompa Loompa from earlier, we're making out at a table. Running out of the cafeteria, I headed for the bathroom. Deciding I wasn't hungry, I just sat there and called for my wolf.

"Hey, you okay?"
"DO I SEEM OKAY?"
"Hey! Don't yell at me! I'm just as hurt as you!"
"Okay fine you're right"
"Listen he probably just made a mistake. Maybe he didn't think we were actually mates."
"Or he thinks we're not good enough"

Cutting off the connection, I speed walked to my locker and grabbed my things for art, my favorite subject. After finishing art and the rest of school, I started to walk home.

You see I told you the chapters would get longer. Just know that sometimes they'll be super long and sometimes they'll be short. It all depends on my schedule.
