*DISCLAIMER: There's a new, better book out I started writing please check that out it's about the same topic I didn't like where this was going and also how it was written lol thanks*

While walking home I noticed the trees have stated to change colors which means Fall, my absolute favorite season.

Hearing a twig snap, I turned to look probably giving myself whiplash. "Hello?" No one. "I know you're there I heard you" still no one answered.

Suddenly a dark black wolf came emerging through the trees.
"Mate" My wolf called. "Ugh you again. Listen I don't want any part of you just go with your girlfriend Amanda or something."

He cocked his head to the side making it look like he was confused. "Amanda is not my girlfriend, nor will she ever be, little one" I suddenly heard in my head. I jumped back surprised not understanding where the voice came from.

"So no one has told you about the mate link. Not even your parents?" Tears sprung to my eyes at the mention of my parents. In an instance Xavier was shifted back to his human form and holding me. "What's wrong little one?"

"Nothing just.... just get off me and put a shirt on flee bag." He whimpered at the names I was calling him but stopped just as soon as he started.

"You WILL NOT disrespect me little one! I am the Alpha and you are to respect me! Understand?"

Hurt by his words, I quickly shifted and ran the rest of the way home.
-------------------
Opening the door and rushing in, Aunt Mae asked me questions like "why are you crying" and "is everything alright?" I just ignored her and ran straight up to my room.

After an hour long conversation with my wolf, I had stopped crying. She had explained to me how he just might have lost his temper, but I could hear the hurt in her voice.

God how I hated having a mate. With no mate you're free to do what you like and you don't have to live with someone constantly knowing where you are. Not only that, but with being the Alphas mate you had to be a Luna which meant big responsibilities.

Finally relaxing, I drifted off and let the dark consume me.
-------------------
My eyes fluttered open and I looked at my alarm clock. 6:30!?!? I hurriedly got up and brushed my hair and did my makeup. I just threw on black Converse with leggings and a gray sweater.

Rushing out the door, I hoped in my car and sped off to school.

Hearing the warning bells I ran to my class with all my stuff not bothering to go to my locker and be late. Walking in there, all eyes were on me, including Xavier's. "Ah Ms. Spencers! Seems you decided to not be late. Now go sit down" Mr. Wighle stated impatiently.

Throughout class, Xavier tried to talk to me multiple times but I refused to answer. Finally the bells rang and I sprinted off to the rest of my classes wanting the day to end.
-------------------
"I'm home Aunt Mae" I shouted excitedly. "Good, good honey. We have some company" she said while leading me into the living room.

Walking in it was none other the Xavier and some other guy in presuming was his beta. After a long silent minute Aunt Mae spoke up. "This is Alpha Xavier"
"Yea I know. We've meet" I said rolling my eyes
"Madison! This is the Alpha! You treat him with respect. Alpha I'm so sorry I don't know what's been up with her"

After a long, unbearable hour, Xavier finally said something that caught my attention. "Madison you'll be coming with me to live in my pack house"
"I'm sorry what?" I asked confused wether I was going crazy or not.
"You'll be coming with me to live in the pack house."
"Um no I'm good here actually"
"You have no choice! You will be coming with me. You are the Luna of this pack and shall treat it with every ounce of respect you have in that tiny body!"
Running to my room angry, I slammed the door.

Why did everything always have to be against me? I never have had anything turn out the way I wanted!
