It's been about two weeks since the Halloween party, and let's just say, my life has been crazy. I have people stopping me in the streets, saying "Oh my god! You're the girl who got ragdolled at the party!" And every time that happens, I have to sit there and act like it wasn't that big of a deal, and that I'm perfectly fine.

I'm not.

My anxiety has been at an all time high ever since Rylan touched me. The bruise on my arm has finally gone away, and the fear of a new one replacing it has me up at night. Knowing that Rylan has a key to my apartment in his possession makes a shiver run down my spine. What's even worse is that no one seems to be treating him any differently, only me.

I get ridiculed for not thinking about how he would feel about me being there, and how my presence would trigger him.

How about we go after the man-child that screamed hurtful things at me and put his hands on me? I don't know, something I'm just thinking about.

It was so embarrassing, having to get up off the ground after the whole scene went down. The rest of that night went by in a haze.

"Isla! What happened?" Lorelei's blurry silhouette squats in front of me, holding my face in her hands. I can feel the tears steadily pouring down my face, but my body has become completely numb. The pressure of her hands is overwhelming, causing a bolt of fear to run through me and I jump backwards. A tremble takes over me, shaking me to my core, leaving an uncomfortable sensation in its wake. Lorelei's hopeless face sits in my watery eye line, crumbling the last pieces of my heart left intact.

Words fail to form in my mind, it being blank of anything useful. I pull myself off the ground, ignoring the pain radiating from my tailbone. and begin to back out of the circle still formed around us, tripping over my own feet. My back meets a body and I jump forward, almost falling back down due to my weak legs. Spinning around, I force myself through the manmade barrier, my hands beginning to feel like they're on fire from the touch of another person's skin.

I can hear Lorelei shouting behind me, a looming presence that makes my heart race and breathing quicken. My feet stumble on the ground, struggling to plant firmly on the floor as I trudge to the back door. A large male figure approaches me, quickly invading my space. Before he can begin to speak, my body works before my brain does, and I drop to the ground. Shaking vigorously, the figure drops down to meet my eye level, almost treating me like a scared dog.
