I freeze. Someone knocks at the door again and shouts out, "Police, open up!"

Great.

I swear 0.5467899 seconds later the Outsider has his knife at my throat. Why me???? my brain demands.

Ignoring the cold metal at my throat I turn to the table grabbing his things and shoving them at his chest before I grab his other wrist and drag him to my room. "What are you doing?" he asks stopping in the middle of the hallway. "I'm trying to help you," I hiss at him. "Now come on," I say tugging at his arm.

This time he comes with. I pull him into my room and shove him into the closet. Luckily it's a walk-in closet so it isn't that small and there's enough room for everything. I reach around him and grab an extra outfit. Right before I close the closet door, the Outsider grabs my wrist. I look up at him annoyed but I'm surprised when I see his eyes. They're... scared? I whisper, "Trust me," to him before closing the closet door.

I quickly change and kick the clothes under my bed. The knocking on the door became louder as I changed and they were shouting too. I yelled, "I'm coming!" and sprinted down the hallway. I rush to the door quickly unlocking it.

I then open the door just in time to get someone's shoulder rammed into my face.

LOVELY.
