Chapter 1
Im a normal girl, im not considered to be pretty, I don’t have many friends at school. I get into a lot of trouble in school mainly because I stand up for myself. I have longish Brown curly hair with blonde tips. I am Bethany-Quinn.
“Get up Beth!” My mum shouted from the kitchen. I hated getting up so early, I didn’t see the point in it but considering Its my last day of school before I move I guess I should get up.
“Im up!’ I yelled back at her slowly getting up from my soft and comfortable bed that I loved so much.
After getting up I went into my walk in bathroom that was connected to my room and looked in the mirror, I didn’t like what I saw so I decided to have a shower. After getting my clothes off I got in, it was so nice and warm I didn’t want to get out but I had to.
I got dressed in my uniform and brushed my teeth and put my make up on, I don’t wear too much cause I don’t want to be a cake face like the rest of the girls at my school. After finally feeling ok about my appearance I went down stairs to my mum getting what is left packed.
“Hey bub” My mother said, she likes to call me ‘bub’ for some reason but I just go with it.
“Hey mum, how’s your morning been?” I asked
“Yeah its been good, are you ready for you last day of school?” She asked.
“Im as ready as I will ever be although I don’t think today will be very interesting it never is.” I replied honestly.
“Bye Beth enjoy your last day!” My mother shouted as I got out of the car. I just simply waved and said my goodbyes tp her and walked into school. Im not very popular and I only have a few close friends. I walked through the gates and headed to the spot I always meet my friends Catherin and Jake. After I got there I was bulldozed over by my two bestfriends both with sad looks on their faces knowing that today is the last time I will get to see them for a while.
“Hey Cath and Jake whats up?” I asked curiously
“Do you have to go? Cant you stay with me?” Cath asked with a slight tear in her eyes. As I was about to answer the bell went indicating that we had to go to class.
The day went by pretty fast, as I looked up at the clock it was 5 minutes to 3, my stomach turned knowing that I would be leaving Australia to go to London in a few hours. I didn’t want to go knowing I would miss my bestfriends, but I knew that I had to go for my mum.
The bell went and I left and met mum at the car ready to go home for the last time ever.
