Me and Foster and been discussing what had happened at the arch when a gasp came from the corner of the room. We both turned to see what it was. It was a wayward you appeared to be a year or two older than me. They were just standing there, shaking, staring directly at us. "Keefe?"she whispered before dropping to her knees.

Everything was still a bit hazy from the pain medication but the mention of my name woke me right up. I jolted upright and gazed at they wayward on the floor, she appeared to be... crying?

I shared a confused look with sophie. As Boobury dude (as I had dubbed him, pretty creative right,) came rushing over and helped the girl off the floor and into a cot beside foster.

"Who the hell is that?" I blurted out, the question aimed at Boobury dude "and how do they know keefe's name?" Foster joined in. I felt my heart flutter a little as she backed me up. But there was no time for that. " I'm not to disclose information about other wayward's" he said calmly as he poured a sedative down the kid's throat who was now sobbing. Boobury  dude slowly lowered her down into a laying position as she fell asleep.

Me and foster sat in silence until the Wayward woke up. I could see their long curly chocolate brown hair flowing down the back of her uniform. The girl's back was to me as she lowered her hood and took off her mask. She sniffed and still trembled a little. "Hey are you ok? Do you want to talk about what? My names Sophie foster what's yours?" The girl didn't answer instead she placed he mask back on, pushed her hood up, stood up and walked towards Boobury dude, she whispered something in his ear and walked out

"Well that was weird" I stated bluntly trying to fill the silence . Sophie turned to look at me " who do you think she was?? I tried to come up with any other reason then what I was thinking " maybe she went to foxfire and recognized me" sophie smiled then frowned "that doesn't explain why she acted like that" "why don't we just ask the others when we see them next?" I tried "yeah I guess" Sophie sighed.

Boobury dude walked over and gave us one quick clap "alright up and at em, time for you to go find your tent" I dragged myself out of the cot and me and foster set out to meet up with the other's.

I was placed in the left hemisphere with Dex. It was awesome to be placed with him, more time for planing prank's on fitz. But I did feel bad for foster she was on her own, well not completely, that weird girl from the healing tent was there as well.

Due to Sophie's "little stunt" we had to do taming your hunger or whatever the coaches called it. All I knew was I was hungry and wasn't going to get food anytime soon.

Dex was lucky his dad made him train this. He tried to whisper me tricks but the coach yelled at him. Instead he resorted to sending me sympathetic glances.

I seemed to be getting a lot of those recently. Everyone thought I was broken, defeated because of my mom but i wasn't. I was strong and I didn't care about her anymore even if she was dead.

I was lost in my thought's thinking about that strange girl and before I knew it chaos was surrounding me forcing me to go find my friends and help them stop whatever the hell this was.
