Akashi's Pov:

I don't know when or how long I was trapped in this prison, for my mind is in endless pain because of the bruises that man gave me. The poison that slowly keep spreading inside my body, it wouldn't took long until it reaches my heart and end my life completely. As the thought of such fate that will await me, I began to thought of Tetsuna. What is she doing right now? She must be feeling happy that she's finally home. After all she's been kidnapped so it's not surprising for her to act that way, what I did was horrible to her when we reunited, but I can't help it because the thought of you marrying to another man makes my blood boil. 

I'm honestly aware that you lost your memory by the time we got separated. I'm sure there's no doubt that it was that man Takashi who took all your memories about me away from you so you can completely forget about me and stop chasing me no matter how great the distance are. He cannot accept our strong love for each other that he had to go through such horrible method to her daughter and find another man to marry you when there's no other person who could replace me. But I knew it would be bound to come like this one day so I'm glad I have spend time with you like we did in the old days. 

I can clearly remember everything in the past like it was yesterday, and our meeting back then was kind of unexpected. It started at the age of 4 where we weren't kicked out of the town yet, but we were not likable by humans. It was the era where humans has started to label us as monsters and we weren't allowed to make contact with humans as that's the half-human half-animal creature's rule. After all, why mingle with humans when they see you as a monster that will bring calamity on earth? That rule is the No. 1 and common rule that we creatures will follow and I, Akashi Seijuro had broke that rule once I met that woman. 

I was sneakily going outside to have fun and play without my parents noticing, in that day I wasn't allowed to go outside by my father and mother, and because I inherited the cat instinct from both my parents, I was able to sneak outside without my parents noticing. I was passing by the playground and saw all normal children playing with each other. I thought for a moment, "Must be nice, playing together, wish I had a friend too and play with them," but then again, I am a half-human half-animal creature, I am not like those ordinary humans so it won't be surprising if they refused to play with me. 

"But oh well, at least I have my own playground to play, it's not like I need a playmate or something, I can play by my own", it's what I thought until I went to the forest, my usual playground and met someone I did not expect to see.

"Who are you?" I met a little girl with sky-blue hair, sky-blue eyes, fair white skin wearing a not-dark but not-light blue kimono designed with Sakura flowers in it and it seems she's crying. She must be pretty lost and usually I wouldn't care, but somehow my conscience took over and approach the girl with worry. 

*cries* 

*reaches out his hand* "Daijoubu desuka?"

*sniff* "Mhm." 

The girl finally stopped crying, and once she calmed down, I asked her, "Why are you crying? Are you lost?" 

"Mhm. I was playing ball with my friends and somehow the ball got thrown in the forest so I was asked to pick it up which I did, but I couldn't find the way out back which is why I'm crying right now."
