The morning came swiftly and gently. Kirito and Asuna were still on the couch, until Yui came by. The couple, both sound asleep, was a cute and odd sight to behold. Drool crept from Asuna's mouth without her noticing while Kirito had his mouth wide open. Yui finally woke them up, startling the two."Mommy, daddy, why were you two out here?" She looked at them with innocent eyes.
"YUI! Oh my gosh, I forgot to go to bed with you. I'm sorry." She wiped the saliva from her cheek. "You didn't see that babe..."
Kirito didn't seem to have woken up from Yui, but rather Asuna, "Umm...what?" He yawningly stated.
"Never mind. Have you heard back from Kage or Michiko?"
"No, I haven't. Should we start looking or should I send them a PM first?" He sat up.
"They are on the 77th floor, heading towards the boss room. Full health, and no abnormal brain-wave activities. This seems purposeful." Yui said, eyes closed and fingers on her temple.
"Facing another boss?! They can't yet!" Kirito jumped up.
"Kage did take another sword though. And that potion seemed to be something of importance." Asuna said, scratching her head.
"The sword he took was called 'The Legion of Shadows' which is a Mythological-Class weapon - the highest tier of the game. The potion he took was not a potion, but rather a liquid item. Mixing it with a common potion will result in a mix that will increase damage by 50 percent when applied to a sword blade." Yui said, looking up at Kirito.
"They must know what they're doing. We should let them go." Kirito sighed, "It's probably better off this way."
"But Kirto, aren't you even gonna think twice about this?!" Asuna raised her voice.
"Nope" he shrugged.
"Too late anyway, they're at it already. Doors have shut too." Yui said.
"Let's not worry about this much. We should go do something though! We have all day!!!" Kirto grabbed Yui and put her on his shoulders.
The three of them laughed as they started heading out towards the forest. Shika and Zagu were not there, a note took their place. We took them, don't worry. We'll be back soon. {Kage} ~Michiko <3 They were in good hands, they were Michiko's pets after all. They walked down the path towards the lake's town. They would go there for the day and spend family time together. Fading in the distance of the cabin, they were on their way.
*Boss room, floor 77*
Kage dodged an attack from his left with his new sword. He was more agile with it because of its boosts. This beast was horrible, though, with the first mob to have a pungent odor. Whatever it was, it seemed humanoid with blades for hands. Hair-like spikes covered is already mutated body. The face was also deformed and looked similar to the previously defeated boss, Gleam Eyes. The pungent odor came from its breath as the mouth looked bloody. This one wasn't a hard boss to him, but it wasn't ever something to be played with.
Using a sword skill, Michiko came up and struck him in his abdomen, stunning the beast - this was an opportune strike. Kage hit the beast in its center, dropping half of a bar of its health. They retreated to the back of the room. Watching the beast come back to its artificial senses was always a sight, but he did not chase them once he got up. Roaring with a shriek, he shook the arena and its pillars. They trembled at his shriek, covering their ears in the process. Rocks fell from the ceiling and landed around the couple, they could not wait any longer to defeat this boss, he would have to be destroyed immediately. The shaking stopped, something started to shift.
