Haru stretched out in his bed, knowing it was the start of a new day. He was lazy, but he would need to start packing for both his trip and the raid before that. A few days ago, he promised that he would be there to help before he left and he would keep that to the people he now saw as true friends. Getting up and letting his feet hit the floor with a thud, he lazily dawned his clothes. He really wanted to keep sleeping but, unfortunately, he knew they had a a short window of opportunity.
Buro came through the door, slightly disturbed and amazed at what had happen during Haru's slumber.
"What's the matter? Did the system finally stop toying with you?"
"No, unfortunately. But Kage came! Just talked to me, though he left when everyone woke up."
"He did?" Haru's posture straightened, "What did he say?"
Buro looked at him with a smirk, "When did you make friends with him?"
"I didn't... I just need to make right what is wrong between us. Since when have you liked a bad aftertaste in your mouth?"
"True, but I was serious. He left this for you."
The sparkling orb of light pulsated in Buro's hands, offering a transfer to Haru's inventory. Haru accepted breathlessly. Attached to it was a letter from Kage, who he had treated unfairly. It wasn't long, but he opened it anyway. A scroll unraveled leaving a wax seal that held a crest dangling from the bottom. It was odd that such things were important to him, but nonetheless he straightened the rough papyrus and started reading.
Haru, I know we've had our differences since we first met. Let me say some things though before you think about putting this down. When I came for Buro's help, I didn't expect him to have such a group put together. With his abilities in prior fantasy games, I thought he wouldn't need such security; but it seems as I have misjudged him. I did not mean to offend you in any way and I hope you know that my intrusion wasn't meant as any sort of violent act to you or him, just in case you had any sort of prior experience with him.
Secondly, I haven't "left" and if you have been watching carefully, I have visited a few times. That was without the knowledge of other people, but, if you show this to them, just know that I honestly don't care if they knew or not. I have known of your transition into acceptance of the people around you and I am glad you have done so. They are some of the best people I've met. Fun, friendly, caring. I think you get it. I spared you guys floor 94 to take more time to get to know each other, so you should take it easy today instead of going to floor 95.
And lastly, to keep this short, that item is a communication spark. I have hacked more than one into the game but, since Kayaba already transferred one into my inventory, I cannot use a second one. That is because to acquire it, you must enter your avatar's name and if you already have one in your inventory it will not transfer. So, I have decided to give it to you. Use it wisely, because you only have one shot. The recent letter you sent out of this game was tracked by the same people who logged Michiko out so I had the information to that girl. Within the spark, I have already input her cell phone number. I can assure you I have forgot it too, I don't keep track of stuff that isn't mine. Anywho, just activate it and it will immediately call her. Again, use it wisely.
If you haven't put this down, great! You're at the end. I will be coming back to you guys on floor 98 somewhere within the boss's layer. Buro knows, but keep this between you and him only.
Again, thanks for reading. ~Kage
"That's too much..."
"He went over the same things with me just a few hours ago."
