After school I headed over to Evelyn's house.
Today had been shit, I had to deal with the slurs as well as Evelyn's boyfriend.i don't get what she sees in that guy. God, I can't wait till I get outta school. It'll be so much easier.
When I knocked on her door, Jake opened it,
"What are you doing here"
"Evelyn said I could come over after school."
"Whatever".
I rolled my eyes and entered the house.
"KYEEEEEE, IM UPSTAIRS-"
"OKAY,COMING".
I took my shoes off and headed upstairs.
"Hiyaa".
"Hi, Evelyn"
She was at her desk doing some homework.
Jake appeared at the door and came in and placed a simple kiss on her lips.
He smirked at me, obviously provoking me.
" I would love to beat the little ugly shit up". I muttered.
"What?"
"Nothing".
"I'm gonna head downstairs to get a snack,be back in a minute."
"Okay ".
There was an awkward silence between me and Jake.
"Hey man,I know your crushing on Evelyn, she's not up for it, so just drop it, okay??"
"What makes you think I've got a crush on Evelyn?"
"Bro, drop the act, it's so fricking obvious you like her".
"Whatever, Jake".
I left the room,ran down the stairs and out the door.
