Chapter 1

It was only a few weeks since the 5th Hokage was elected , things seemed to be going back to normal.  Team 7 was assigned a 'meaningless' mission , or so they thought. 

---Xiao POV ---

" Good Morning Young Master , It's passed 11am already " Karl my caretaker announced as he threw open the curtains . I groaned and turned over , throwing my blanket over my head to block the light " go away "

" Im sorry Young Master , I usually would let you sleep in seeing as your training keeps you up all night , but you must be present when our guests arrive " Karl stated as he tried to pull the covers off me , I sat up visibly confused " Guests ?"

" yes young master , the kidnapping attempt last week has really worried us , the staff and myself have been worried for your safety , I decided to hire some ninja to find who the culprits are " he explained as he pulled out my wardrobe for the day , I rubbed my eye " it wasnt the first attempt and it wont be the last , just because you find the culprit of the recent kidnapping attempt doesnt mean it'll be the last person " .

Karl hummed in response " yes I know , you could easily overpower the advisories but  your training is not yet complete . Itll just be for now "

I climbed out of bed and stretched " and the ninja who are coming , what have you told them ?" , Karl smiled almost amused by my question " that I have a young lord who is constantly targeted for ransom , I want them to protect my young lord and find the culprit . Its not far from our current  predicament  , just a few details changed is all "

I shook my head and went into the bathroom to clean up and get dressed with Karl following behind to stand by , another servant knocked on the bathroom door " Sir Karlsson , the ninja are here ."

Karl nodded to me and left the room , I sighed and gazed into the mirror . The symbol of our clan is plastered on my forehead like a giant sign , every single Hayashi clan member is born with this silly mark and nothing can hide it . When its wrapped under a bandge , it actually melts it off . Once the ninja see it , they'll know who I am , the thought makes me nervous. 

I quickly get dressed and make my way to the main room which has been renovated into a lavish living room with soft white curtains and white walls with golden trimmings .

As I approached the doors , I heard the ninja talk with Karl .

" wow this place is huge !" A loud voice boomed , another voice , softer , hushed him  " Naruto , be quiet , dont be disrespectful "

Karl chuckled , I opened the door slighly to peak into the room to find Karl sitting down and three kids around my age with a young man in a mask sitting across him , their backs towards me . He offered them beverages and once they relaxed he took in a breath " I must be truthful,  my young master isnt being targeted for ransom "

The man in the mask shifted slightly , Karl continued " my young master is born into a very unique position and he , just like his parents ,  are targeted for evil things.  "

The girl spoke " I dont understand,  what sort of evil can your master do , what position is he in ?" The masked man glanced behind him and spoke to silence the girl  " Sakura .."

His eyes landed on my position behind the door , he couldnt see me fully but his eye narrowed " Is that him ?"

The three other kids turned around , Karl nodded " Young Master , please come in "

I opened the door and walked into the room , the man in the mask stood immediately in shock , his eye wide " no way.."

The kids , alarmed by his reaction quickly looked at him " Kakashi sensei ? Whats wrong ?"

I walked closer and stood beside Karl , Karl gestured to me as he spoke " May I present , Xiao Hayashi . The last remaining Hayashi clan member "

The boy with black hair had wide eyes as the clan name registered . Kakashi slowly calmed down " Hayashi....I thought you all died off a long time ago "

I sighed and sat down " if that were true , you wouldnt be here " I immediately poured myself something to drink as Karl sighed and looked to them " We arent strangers to kidnappers , but these guys were very desperate for Xiao unlike we've seen . I fear for his safety "

Sakura frowned " Hayashi...where have I heard that name before "

Naruto seemed clueless " What is the Hayashi clan sensei ?"

Kakashi sat down " The Hayashi clan were the first justu users in history however they never used chakra  , they gathered  energy from the natural world and became the leaders of the people , but  when Chakra developed in others , the Hierarchy fell and the Hayashi clan became the lesser warriors but because of their connection to the natural world , they were used like batteries,  a endless source of power ."

Karl nodded " Xiao is the last member of the clan , anyone who wants unlimited chakra will never stop hunting him . He is currently training self defensive techniques but he isn't ready yet , we need to find the culprits before they get a hold of him "

After explaining the situation,  the ninja's were shown to their rooms .  Karl escorted me to the back garden , one that is highly cared for . I sat in my usual spot that had a circle and got into my meditation pose as Karl poured me a glass of water and placed it infront of me , he then stepped back out of my range " Call me if you need anything " , he went to the nearby greenhouse where most of the produce grew . The ninjas were out in the garden aswell , surveying the area and so on. 

I focused on the water infront of me , the wind flowed gently through the plants around me , the water in the glass began to ripple and soon began moving out of the glass horizontally.  A bird kaw interrupted me and the water just dropped,  I sighed deeply annoyed at the bird who stood in the circle . I glared at it " seriously,  why do you keep doing that ?"

The bird argued back in its noises , I tired to shoo it away but it kept arguing with me . I groaned with frustration as the bird flew off , a boys voice spoke behind me " can you understand it ?"

I turned to see the boy with black hair , I nodded " yeah , that one is a returning annoyance "

He had a slight smirk and sat beside me , we actually began talking alot about many things we both agreed on . I never expected to find mutual understanding with Sasuke but here I am .
