Ambivalence (Karin Uzumaki Love Story )

Chapter 2

That night , I heard a unusual snap outside, my senses immediately warned me of danger . I flew out of bed just as someone crashed into my room , the stranger stood tall on my bed as I glared at him from the wall .

The man was dressed head to toe in black .  He pulled out rope and a kunai , " dont make this hard kid , just come along quietly "

" Nope " I threw my door open and ran down the halls , I had valuable antiques in my room i didnt want to damage so I led them out into the halls instead . A second person jumped into the hall way from another room , I tilted my foot and slid underneath the second person . I looked back at them with a smirk and ran to another hall , one without rooms , just windows on both sides like a tunnel .

The two people followed me , I led them far enough and skid to a stop turning around . The two men approached slowly , opening a large bag . I extended both my hands , fixed my position onto a strong stance and with every ounce of strength,  I brought my hands together into a clap , at the exact timing of the clap sound , strong winds from both sides flew into the building , shattering the glass like a shock wave and throwing the men around , the wind pressure from both sides crushed them ,  they also got impaled several times with the glass , staining the floors red with crimson blood as their bodies dropped.

Once I knew that they were dead , my shoulders relaxed , Karl was the first to run in from the doors behind me , behind him were the 3 ninja kids . Kakashi entered the hall from the other end and froze in place when he saw the scenery infront of him . Karl immediately whirled me around and looked for injuries.  I brushed him off " Im fine "

He looked at the hall and frowned " Xiao I've told you before , when they come for you , run . Never fight !"

" and look where that got me last time " I hissed back , Karl sighed and spoke under his breath " your abilities arent stable yet , you could have killed yourself in the process . You need more training . You are reckless!"

Kakashi removed their masks , they were just thugs , hired thugs . Kakashi found some paperwork in one of their pockets stating that I was a person of interest but it didnt say who leaked the information.

Karl looked to the ninja's " please escort him back to his room " I gave Karl a glare , I hated being protected like this , Im not some damsel in distress.  I walked with the three ninja , Naruto spoke with curiosity " how did you do that ?"

" i just ....did " I answered with a shrug , Sakura then joined in " do you use any sort of hand signs ?"

" no , I just gesture with my hands and ...it happens "

Saskue watched me as the other two continued answering questions. " yes this is technically a kekkai genkai , no its not teachable , no I cant show you "

After everything clamed down , it was revealed that the culprit was with the men I killed , he was the one who entered my room . Soon after the mission was declared a success , they didnt do their jobs because  I did it for them but Karl still payed them for their services. Kakashi lookes to Karl " why did you hire us if Xiao could easily defend himself ?"

Karl frowned and closed his eyes " Xiao is reckless, arrogant and a serious danger to himself . He isnt ready to use his abilities "

Hearing these words I felt angry and side eyed Karl  , Kakashi looked at me then at Karl " the more you shield him , the harder it'll be for you to let go.  He is ready , you arent "

Karl looked down at me , his eyes searching mine , with a reluctant sigh he nodded then looked at Kakashi again . Kakashi picked up his backpack and led his students to the door , Kakashi looked back " Dont worry , No one will know of Xiao's existence " .

Karl crossed his arms " that would be helpful since we have our hands full already "  I looked to the three , my eyes landed on Sasuke who just nodded at me before leaving . Little did I know that Id be seeing Sasuke again in three years.
