"Till death do us apart," they said at the same time. She was so scared until now. She thought that they'll never get over their little conflicts. But now that both of them are standing at the altar had-in-hand she doesn't feel scared anymore. She feels like nothing is impossible now and that nothing can stop them.
"You may kiss the bride," as everyone cheered she could feel Edmund's lips on hers. They were now wed and their honeymoon will start in thirteen hours. They can party and talk with their guests until then. She was lost in thought when she could feel a hand at the back of her knees, then a second later she was lifted into the air. Apparently Edmund had picked her up in bridal-style.
He started to run with her out of the church as she giggled and he only put her down when they got to the car that was going to take them home for a quick change of clothes.
On the way the car honked as they usually do when a wedding is happening.
They got to their apartment and they went in, her bridesmaids' right behind them.

The plane just took off and her now husband had fell asleep. She wasn't surprised, it was indeed a long day. She decided to read so time would go by faster. She just started this amazing book about a killer that lived on an island and it killed every tourist. It's a really great thriller. The plane was travelling at night so it was hard staying awake. In a few hours she drifted asleep. She only woke up when the announcer said that the plane would land soon.
She lifted her head off of the seat's table and looked to her side, seeing her husband already smiling at her. She smiled back and gave him a peck on the lips.
"Good mornin' sleepy head. We're almost there you should fasten your seatbelt," the woman did as he said. "How about that after we get to our hotel we rest a little bit and then go to the beach. Would that be good for you Anne?" she gladly agreed to her husband's recommendation.
The landing wasn't really smooth there was a little turbulence. They slowly got off the plane and the woman thought. 'Thank god nobody clapped'. They got their luggages' and walked out of the airport. They caught a taxi and they were off to the hotel they were staying at. They passed a sign that read: Welcome to the city of Elouan.
It was a beautiful resort. The rooms where perfect in their opinions, the food was excellent and the hotel had multiple pools all very clean and beautiful.
"I think we're going to enjoy our staying here," claimed the man, but the woman had a feeling in her guts that this will end horrifically, but she shrugged it off.
"Yes, of course honey. We won't be able to rest for a really long time after we get back. You know we are moving a week after we get back," she reminded him. Edmund had a habit of forgetting important things like Anne's birthday or their anniversary. Anne and Edmund known each other for ten years now.
They've met in high school and became a couple after graduation, it's soon their seventh anniversary. It wasn't love at first sight. They only tolerated each other, because their bestfriends' were together, they unfortunately broke up two hours after graduation. Few month after they went to college Edmund reached out to Anne and asked her out on a date, because he had a crush on her since sophomore year, but Anne only started to like him when they started dating. But she was the one who ended up loving the other more. Edmund wanted to break up with her, but after her father told him he has to marry her he had no choice. It won't be a happy marriage, but Anne is blinded by love to see all the red flags. Or maybe she just didn't want to. People tend to do this.
Once they checked they went up to their room which was beautiful like the rest of the hotel. Anne was looking around when she felt Edmund grabbing her by the hips pulling her towards him, the he kissed her deeply.

The couple went to this beautiful beach nearby. They were at the sea. The beach was close to the hotel, it didn't have trash on the shore and the water was clear.
Anne was wearing this absolutely stunning two piece bikini. She especially put it on for Edmund, but he couldn't care less. He didn't want to be there. He would much more prefer a cold beer at the bar and watching TV in their hotel room. Unlike Anne. She enjoyed the beach. She could tan and take a swim in the sea.
"I'm gonna go get some drinks for us. What do you want?" like I said Edmund didn't like being there.
"A pina colada. Without ice."
"Okay. Be right back," he said as he walked off, but in his head he was thinking 'why she didn't want ice into it. But it's better with ice. She won't notice if I get on with ice. It'll melt in any ways until I get there'. Men can be so stupid sometimes.
Edmund got back in ten minutes and he found Anne in the water. Actually he saw her there. So he decided that he will just wait for her. She got out of the water seven minutes after Edmund got back. That's seventeen minutes in total, which means the ice did melt now.
"Here you go sweetheart," Edmund gave Anne her drinks.
"Thank you. You ordered it without ice, right?" she had to make sure.
"Yes, of course. You specially asked me to order it without ice, remember? Why would I order it with ice then?" Edmund was really great at lying, for example when Anne asked him why did he got home so late, he would tell her that it's because of work. But he actually finished work hours earlier and he visited someone else.
They spent almost six hours at the beach, so it was time to get back. They came on foot since it's a four minute walk from the hotel.
After they got back Edmund went and had a shower, changed and fell asleep right away. Now that he couldn't disturb her she had a long hot shower and she washed her hair. She got out from the bathroom in a towel and found a letter on her pillow. It wasn't there when they got back and Edmund couldn't have placed it there since he was deeply asleep. She decided that she'll ignore it and went to sleep with a weird feeling.
Was someone else in the room while they weren't there?
