Escaping Walls

Chapter 4

An alarm clock went off with loud short clashes waking Namori. She turned off the clock and changed into her uniform and went downstairs. "Morning Namori, I got some news for you." Namori looked at her mother and sat down at the table eating the ready breakfast, "And that is?" "Well, your father, Roselyn, Jack, and I are going to be going to a meeting because we are going to become allies with the Blackehart's." Namori choked on her eggs. "For real?! They have been our biggest enemy forever!" her mother smiled and said, "yes but, there is a bigger threat coming so we must also..." "there's more?" Namori choked out spitting eggs on the table. Her mother's smile went a little smaller, but it was still big. "You get to come." Namori jumped up, flinging the eggs. "You're not joking?!!" her mother laughed and shook her head. "Right after school Jack will take you." Namori ran over and hugged her. "Thank you, thank you!" her mother patted her on the head. "You're welcome now get to school." Namori let go and ran outside missing the two doorsteps. "Careful idiot, you could get hurt doing that!" Namori opened the door smiling "sorry, too excited." Jack rolled his eyes and started to drive.

"Why the hell are you so excited?" a tall pale girl with two messy purple and blue buns blowing bubble gum asked Namori as they were walking to the lockers. "Eh, no reason that's special Vex." Vex was Namori's only friend in the school, mostly because she wasn't like the rest of the girls: bratty, "hot" and flirty. Vex was also an extended part of her family's mafia. "It's just that they are finally going to let me go on a meeting!" Vex smirked and rolled her eyes. "Wow, how exciting, I am jumping up and down with excitement." Namori turned around and started walking backward to face her. "Well, you know how protective they are, I don't get to do anything but hide the bodi- Mph." Vex covered her mouth and hissed "be quiet, there are people everywhere." Namori pulled Vex's hand off "my bad, I'll stop talking about it." Vex sighed and stepped into her class waving goodbye.

After school Namori started to quickly skip out of the school which ended up in a sprint. "Come on, come on let's go!" Jack laughed and said "ya know you have to be serious when we get there right?" she smiled and said, "then I guess I have to get the excitement out now." "Well do it quietly." Jack pulled out of the parking area and started driving off. "So, what exactly is this?" Jack sighed and said, "something really stupid that our mother and the mother of the Blackehart family thought of, but I guess it's good since it means we won't be at war." Namori looked at him and said, "aren't they American?" Jack nodded. "The two largest crime families joining together and making one of the first-ever combines." Namori smiled and said, "that's good, but how is it stupid." Jack frowned and said, "stop asking questions and focus on being serious, you have your mask, right?" Namori nodded. "Put your hair in a bun, put your mask on, cover your school uniform, in case this goes wrong. I guess you'll finally be able to fight." he dug into the secret compartment by the door and tossed a gun next to Namori. "It's on a safety lock, hide it in your stockings." Namori nodded and did all that he said.

When they pulled up, Namori opened her door to see three different cars, her father's ocean blue Lamborghini Aventador, a black Chevrolet Tahoe, and a limo a bit like hers but smaller. "Well, it seems like we are late," Jack said, shutting his door and bending backward popping his back. "Is that bad?" She looked up to peer at the abandoned storage unit. "Well, it depends on how long they have been here." Jack looped his arm with Namori and started walking. "They won't hurt me if I have you." Jack grinned and opened the door for them. As soon as they stepped inside Namori was pulled from Jack's grasp as a piece of a metal pipe was thrown at Jack. "You're late." her mother said coldly watching Jack get up from being hit. "Sorry the school was crowded and there was traffic." another piece of metal came flying at him but smaller. "I told YOU to take the private back roads, you idiot!" Namori snickered which caused someone to hit the back of her head. "Don't laugh, be serious as well," Roselyn said, looking grim and a bit angry. "Why do you seem so mad, is it because you have to be?" Namori looked at her mom "where are they, I saw the cars." her mom smiled and said "well, the youngest came from school so he is changing, and the parents and his brother came straight from a mission." her mother looked to see Namori wearing an oversized hoodie. "Oh, dear lord, my son is an idiot, thank god I'm not." she turned around to pick up a black bag from the table. "Here Namori, I brought you some clothes, your favorite dress." Namori jumped in happiness and grabbed the bag walking into a different room "I'll be quick."

Namori stood there about to open the door that separates her from all the others. She stood there and took a deep breath before she started to listen to what they were saying "I feel bad that we are going to force them into this since they are just kids, but it seems like the only way to be at peace." Namori looked down at her dress, she was wearing a dress that came to a couple of inches before her knees, it was Maroon, the top part looked like a sweater as it had a heart-shaped hole in the middle of her chest a couple of inches from her breasts and the bottom half had a belt linked to the skirt with little fringes at the end. Her shoes came up to her knees but were not tall enough to completely hide her stockings, they were Maroon with black tips. She didn't think about what they were saying, and she didn't want to. She smiled and opened the door "I'm finished and ready." as soon as she opened the door, she heard a woman near the same age as her mother squeal "now she is absolutely adorable!'' The woman was the same height as Roselyn with sky blue eyes and blond hair. "She will be perfect. How did she get done way before my son...?" Namori's father looked at Namori and said, "she knows that time is important." the woman smiled and turned around "Oliver, please go get your brother, I feel like he is nervous." a tall man with black hair that fades into a dark blue with red eyes nodded and walked towards a door. "I'm coming, I'm coming!" Namori jumped back in shock as the boy walked out. He did the same. "Surrender!" "Namori!" they both said in unison. Roselyn looked at Namori. "You know him, he knows you?" Namori coughed and said, "we had a run-in at school." Jack looked at Namori and Jack gave her a wicked grin "yep, that's right." The father of the Blackehart's walked in, "enough chit chat, it's time for business.'' He had black messy hair with a stone-cold face and brown eyes, he scared Namori too much for her to look at him.
