With the original novel being published in 1955 by Vladimir Nabokov, 7 years later a movie adaptation being released and a second adaptation in 1997.
This story has gotten a lot of backlash and commentary.
I, myself was concerned about the contents of the story. But I do believe that you cannot judge without reading or watching the story yourself, so I decided to watch the 1997's adaptation.
This essay is about my thoughts and opinions, so if you're looking for a more profesional essay, this is not the one for you. But I do hope you find one that interests you!
