That night, Ren and Gakushū prepared to party with some of their old friends from high school and a few colleagues. All were male of course, as Ren had set a strict no female rule because he didn't want to upset his future wife.

Karma couldn't make it, but he did suggest to set everything up. So Ren let him decorate the living room and order the food from a catering service.

"You can always count on Karma for these sorts of things, parties are always his specialty" Gakushū commented once he and the others entered the house. They rented a beach house for the occasion.

Music was blaring and alcoholic beverages were opened. Gakushū made sure to stay sober because he still had a class to teach tomorrow, and he needed to make sure his friend wouldn't do anything stupid during the party.

"Where are the womeeeen?" Koyama, red faced and holding a bottle of beer slurred as he pressed himself against Ren, who was texting Rio.

"No women here Koyama" Ren chuckled. "But it's a bachelor party! Usually those have strip teases from sexy women wearing lingerie" their former classmate said with a lewd expression, sighing heavily before he took a swig of his drink. Gakushū rolled his eyes "That wouldn't make Rio happy" Gakushū said

Ren nodded and smiled when his beautiful blonde fiancé replied to him.

He felt his heart fluttering as he imagined his fiancé walking towards him in her gown. Soon, very soon she will bear the name Sakakibara

"She wants to face time" Gakushū commented. Ren looked at the new text, and sure enough. She said she wanted to see him and his friends. "Guys lower down the music!" He shouts.

Someone lowered the volume of the music.

Gakushū set up the laptop and clicked the 'Skype' icon. Everyone else gathered around Ren and Gakushū, asking the future groom how Rio has been all these years and once again congratulating him.

Suddenly there was a knock on the door.

Ren frowned, he was sure they weren't expecting anyone else. The knock sounded again, and Rio wasn't answering yet, so he went to get the door.

Upon opening, he was met with a tall woman thinly clad in a tiny red laced dress. "U-uh-ma'am?" He stammered and was shocked when more women showed up behind her. "Are you the groom?" One of them asked, winking at him.

Pretty soon the men were surrounded by half naked women dancing and flirting around them. Ren looked the most uncomfortable and Gakushū was worried. "Hey! Get off him!" Gakushū growled pushing off a stripper who sat herself on Ren's lap

"Ren!" Came an angry voice. It was coming from the laptop.

Ren froze and felt his heart drop when he saw his fiancé's furious and hurt expression. "Rio wait I can explain!!" Too late, she ended the call. "NO!" Ren dropped to his knees and shook the laptop. Gakushū glared at everyone in the room

"EVERYBODY OUT!"

The strippers were the first ones out, followed by their friends.

Gakushū wanted to comfort Ren more than anything but he felt suspicious. He followed the strippers outside and saw one of them angrily arguing with

"Karma?" Gakushū glared at them. But they were too far away to notice him.

He went closer and hid behind a palm tree

"--we did what you wanted now where's our money?!"

"Alright alright! Here" Karma took out his wallet and handed a million yen to the stripper(Author: 7,329.40 United States Dollar)

"What the hell?!" Gakushū emerged, looking and feeling pissed at Karma. "What is this? What did you do?" He growled.

The stripper jumped and looked alarmed. "Oh, shit" she whispered looking past Gakushū.

Ren was standing there, behind Gakushū, with wide eyes and a look of fury and shock. "You did this?" He asks. "Ren-" Karma attempted. "You just ruined my life Akabane! What the hell is wrong with you?! Why?! What did I do to you?!" The brunet screamed before running off to their opposite direction

Karma followed him, with Gakushū in pursuit. "Karma whatever the fuck you're going to do, it won't make him forgive you!" He yelled. "Because you ruined his future! Isn't that right? You ruined his and Rio's future!"

Karma stopped running and turned to glare at Gakushū

Gakushū could only glare back. "Oh? I'm right aren't I? You ruined their future? Why? To get back at me is that it?!"

Karma growled and resumed running, Gakushū however blocked his path. "Oh my God--I knew it! I fucking knew it, this was all to get back at me! Because you never forgave me for what happened and you're using everything against me--for fuck's sake THAT WAS A LONG TIME AGO KARMA!"

"That long time ago " Karma growled, eyes sharpening. "Is still fresh here" his voice broke and he pointed to his heart. Gakushū's eyes softened before they hardened once more "That was just one mistake!"

"ONE. TWO. OR THREE IT'S ALL THE SAME! YOU CHEATED ON ME!" -Karma

"I was drunk!" -Gakushū

"Bullshit excuse! Even if you're drunk, YOU STILL KNOW WHAT YOU'RE DOING! " Karma pushed Gakushū away hard, his expression a mixture of pain and anguish. "My parents' relationship was shit, I grew up with a jaded view on love and I thought...." Karma wiped his eyes

"Dating you, I thought I was wrong" he looked straight into Gakushū's eyes. "It broke me Gakushū, what you did broke me a thousand times over... I thought 'Am I ugly? is my body ugly?' "

"No-"

"Then why?!" He cried.

Gakushū hated himself. He made Karma cry again, he hurt him again.

"Everything is my fault" Gakushū whispered, reaching to comfort Karma, who stepped away from him. "I knew I was the one at fault Karma..that's why I apologized to you the very next day...and everyday until then, because no matter how we look at it, I was wrong"
