"Of all places, why'd he had to pick this place?" Karma thought as he walked up the little hill to the bench under the tree. Gakushū was already sitting there, waiting for him, two cups of coffee by his side. "Hey" he greeted. "Good morning" he handed Karma a cup. "I assumed you hadn't had breakfast yet"

Karma took a sip of his coffee. "Huh... He remembers how I like it"

For a while the two just sat in silence.

Not awkward but, not comfortable either.

"Ren wants us to hire Kotonoha Mitsuba. He's a famous wedding photographer, known for his refined taste, or some shit" Gakushū brought up. "Rio send me drafts of her wedding gown" Karma brought up.

"Let's check out the gowns then" Gakushū said.

Karma wordlessly agreed.

Anything to get this over with so he can go home and return to ignoring Gakushū's shitty existence. So the two drank their coffee as they walked down the hill and called for a taxi. Wordlessly, the two would sneak glances at each other.

And before the other could look back, they would have their attention shifted elsewhere.

This went on for a while.

Soon, the duo arrived at the wedding boutique where Ren scheduled for them to meet with the designers.

At first, the staff mistook them to be the couple preparing for their wedding and thought Karma would be cross dressing into a gown. Karma turned as red as his hair when he heard this, and Gakushu laughed good naturedly. "We're not--I'm not--We're friends of the bride!" Karma stammered, still blushing, embarrassed. "And we're not a couple! What even gave you that idea?!"

The staff all blushed and stammered out apologies. "Forgive me! I'm so sorry--it's just that you two looked so good together and... The way he was looking at you made me think.. That... Well" the woman with long, straight cyan blue hair embarrassedly apologized.

Karma frowned. "The way he looked at me?" He glanced over at Gakushū

Just in time too. He caught Gakushū staring at him admiringly again. When Gakushū realized he was caught, he whipped his head to face the still blushing blue haired woman. "Well you can make up for it by helping us"

He asked Karma to show them the wedding gown ideas sent by Rio.

Karma took out his phone and showed them the pictures. They all admired the sketches and intricate designs, muttered amongst themselves for a bit, before leading the two males deeper into the boutique

Gakushū fell back and whispered to the cyan blue haired girl. He saw her name tag read 'Aoi'

"Aoi-san... Why did you assume my red haired companion would be the one in the dress?" He asked, barely resisting the urge to smirk.

"Oh--well I've been working as consultant for four years now.. I've seen people come and go. When you're in my line of work you tend to pick up on things and.. Well" she smiled gently. "It only took me one look to know he's on the submissive side" she winked at him playfully.

"Really?" Gakushū raised a teasing brow. Aoi nodded "Yep! And his figure? Ohhh~I immediately imagined him wearing a pure white flowing material that showed off his hips!"

"You're giving me ideas Aoi-san, thanks" Gakushū chuckled.

"He said you two aren't a couple, but the vibe you two have say other wise.... I'm guessing, exes?"

"Yeah" Gakushū said softly.

Aoi bit her bottom lip, feeling sorry. Judging by his slouching figure and the crack in his voice when he answered 'yes'
