A safe kidnapping

I manage to text her and put my phone down , I look at Eloise then down and stay sat for hours . In silence .
Around 4 am I walk to the bathroom whining queifku and close the door letting my body fall and break down fully once again

- A : m-mama

She cries pressing both of her hands against her chest and let her body lay down , Sarah comes and check on the girls every hour but she doesn't stay long not to bother them knowing each girls here had their ways of coping .
In the morning they're all invited to come down and get breakfast before leaving , Amelia take her phone and walk downstairs looking at the specific room with food she doesn't even walk there and walk outside sitting on a bench there .

- E : you're saying no to their good food kiddo ?

Eloise says coming to her and sit down handing her a sandwich with peanut butter and jaam on it .

- A : .. thank you

I mumble shaking my head as she take my hand and press it on me

- E : eat .. you never know where you'll land after here , one day you have a perfect life and the other you have nothing left of it

She says looking at me then around finishing her food , I stare down at the sandwich and stay quiet before looking back at her .

- A : where are your parents ?
- E : hmm ... I don't know probably living their best life somewhere far ?

I look at her frowning my eyebrows slightly and play with my shirt

- E : they abandoned me in an orphanage when I was 2 , " too much work " was their excuse .. once I turned eighteen I was asked to leave which I did , now I'm either coming here or staying out
- A : ... but you have family no ? Any friends ?
- E : if even my own parents didn't want me Im sure their family is worse than them .. friends are not my thing
- A : ... I Can agree on that ..
- E : where are your parents ?
- A : ... I don't know ... somewhere more peaceful now .. I hope

I say very quietly and take a bite of the food before handing it back to her seeing the same police cars come and park their auto close to me .

- ?? : hey Amelia , if you're ready we're going to take you
- A : .. I'm going home now ?
- ?? : uh no we had the closest orphanage on the phone they think it's better for now that you settle there -
- A : what - what no , no I want to go home !
- ?? : please Amelia don't make it hard , you're still a minor you can't be there alone -
- A : no - no please ! Please I want my home I want to go home !-

I start moving to walk away but they catch me right away and one of them force me closer to the car as the other goes to see Sarah , I cry I scream for Eloise to do something but she only look at me sadly unable to do much , she still get up and walk to the car with me grabbing my hand tightly

- E : Let me talk to her ! She's scared wait a second dammit !!

She shouts to the police as he sigh and let Eloise do , opening the door of the car still as I sob shaking my head

- E : look - look the orphanage is scary at first but you'll find many people just like me ! That'll take care of you that'll be your family -
- A : why are you alone here then huh !? Why did none of your family come !
- E : I told you - Amelia I told you it's harder once you're eighteen and you don't get adopted -
- A : no - no please you don't understand

I say holding her tightly and almost hiding onto her , Eloise hold onto Amelia staying with her until the other cop comes and let her go needing to do that .

- N : " Amelia , I'm here of course always . How are you ? I'm done with work here I tried texting your mom to come back but she doesn't answer , what's going on ? "
