Two weeks later , Amelia was struggling to adapt still but she had no time to really complain , the cold got her sick half of the last week but Nat managed to help her with warm food and drinks . And right when she started feeling better the trainings were back .

Nat would put weight on the teenager's waist and make her run around the forest for almost an hour before asking her to do push ups and hit a certain tree protected with protection pillows .

Her shooting was still to learn her flinches often made her aim too far from the target , barely managing to hold a heavier gun and manipulating a small one .

She also learn how to lie , and get practically yelled at from Nat when it was too obvious . She learns how to sound more confident and less suspicious if she feels threaten .

She start to learn different languages saying different things in different ways starting the morning at breakfast and ending when they both go to bed . Both of them also start to build more trust for one another , watching movies often together and sharing talks and laughs when they weren't training .

6 months later *

I look forward and keep an eye on my prey I take off the security of my gun and in a second I shoot the deer down , I walk to it quickly leaving no marks of myself down and kneel down once I'm close enough .
I look at it and lean down pressing my forehead against it whispering how sorry I am before starting to take off everything that was in its body leaving the meat , day by day our contacts with the world was cut off we tried hard to avoid going down town to buy food to avoid being with people we needed full preparation like Nat always repeated in every languages .
Today was the last night here before we go back to the city leaving Alaska tomorrow morning to go back around New York .
Leaving all this will definitely be hard since this changed me fully , exactly in the way natasha wanted me to .

- N : what is it to - ... woaw
- A : it's deer tonight

I say chuckling at her face and let go off of the leg of the deer , Nat makes a slight face since I never really managed to bring that big of an animal at home neither did she as she bring me close and kiss my forehead before bringing it away

- N : add wood in the fire and go get showered

I nod and quickly does as told , letting a few hours pass also trying to rest . Before Nat calls me in the living room to eat .

- N : how was it ?
- A : quick , I didn't let him suffer

She asks me in Russian and I answer right away in the same language working on saying stuff in French Spanish , russian and more. But I still preferred Russian over all since she'd speak it better than the others and sometimes she'd even .. teach me to curse ..

We both go to bed and as usual now she comes to my room until I fall asleep as I lay on her chest and listen to her heart beat

- A : .. but how do you know ?
- N : because ... because now we're both ready and we both know when danger is around no ?
- A : ... it's still scary .. we didn't go to the city for so long
- N : we're not going there right away , I told you I'm taking you to the compound first and we see if we can settle there .. if not we'll find a house -
- A : my old ?-
- N : no .. no Amelia you know damn well now your house is known by many people , yes they're stopped but if they escape or let some other people know ? It's still -
- A : dangerous .. I know ..
- N : come on , it's late we have hours of driving coming on

Amelia sigh quietly and nod her head letting Nat go before placing herself better on the bed and drifting off , the next day both of the girls get up earlier finishing to pack everything and saying goodbye to their house before leaving it for good hopefully . Days after on the way they finish by taking a plane and arriving to New York City , they don't stop too long and prefer resting once they're officially back .
Amelia look at the compound once they're there and hold Nats hand tightly going behind her inside , she stays quiet when she hears voices of men mostly and put down her bags .

- S : Hey , you made it before lunch
- N : yeah it was still long

I let go off Nats hand seeing her go hug this man as I stand there rubbing my hands the heat of this place I wasn't used to making my body sting almost because I was still more used to the cold than the warmth .

- S : we're all here but you can go rest first
- N : it's ok .. thank you
- S : you're family Nat of course

I look at the man come to me slowly as I look at Nat then back at him .

- S : you must be Amelia , I'm Steve Rogers
- A : .. nice to meet you sir -
- N : call him Steve don't worry

I nod my head slightly smiling at him and get back closer to Nat a bit shy feeling less at home , Natasha takes the bags again with Steve's help as we go upstairs and he shows us our rooms . I get to choose my own which i choose correctly taking the one right next to Nat's , I put my bags on the WIDE HUGE bed !! And smile widely at how beautiful it was inside . I ever got my own tv !! We'd use Nats laptop everyday so seeing what I've seen months ago was perfect .

- A : I can use it whenever I want ?
- S : whenever you want , same as the shower same as anything that's in here
- A : .. thank you Steve

I say and after a bit I let him go turning on the tv and smiling like a child .
I let a bit pass taking a shower and putting on the clothes in my bag before walking out of my room hearing Nat call me out .
My , oh my this place smelled Devine . I can't help but chuckle while going back downstairs and to the kitchen seeing how big it was inside , a big table covered with food and drinks warm meals for all of us . Slowly more and more people came in making me shy and discreet but thank god I had Nat , she would help for anything and she took a huge part in my life . I'd never let anyone or anything separate us again .

- T : oh yeah like what bunnies ?
- A : um also but I managed to get us deer for a night , the night before we left
- W : oh deer - Natasha !? Are you wild ?-
- N : hey she was supposed to go get the bunnies we had ready and bring them home , she brought me a deer !

I chuckle hearing their tone and look down proudly .

- B : that's impressive , how old are you again ?

The man known as Bucky Barnes says to me making me look up at him quickly .

- A : almost seventeen
- S : impressive indeed
- N : yeah . She had one of the best trainings it's normal boys

I smile at Nat nodding my head before enjoying my meal with everyone , I then walk out of the kitchen once were all done and follow Natasha who was dragging me to a corridor then a room , she opens the door quickly as I gasp loudly seeing a big and full training room .

- A : woaawww !!!
- N : that's where I used to train when I had time , now you can keep going with what I taught you but in here . We also have a parkour outside
- A : it's huge ... cool !!

See this is going to be my life .. back to another version of " normal " .

I'll manage to survive after all maybe ..
