The Midnight Sky

I'm all alone at a terrace

My head lies on my pillow

Invites me for a slumber

But I gaze at the sky

I can see

The whole 360 degree view

Of the midnight sky

That never finds an end to it.

The sound of the cicadas

Breaks the silence of the night

Blends into a pleasant concert

Even the silence wishes to die for it.

An empty sky

Just one star that looks at me

"You're looking at my sufferings up above, didn't you?"

My mind converses to that lonely star.

I never wanna go to sleep

I just wanna keep gazing at the sky

I sometimes, wanna weep

Of my wounds that gone deep.

I do wish me a lovely night

I don't wanna wish for a scorching light

One vibration of my android phone

Puts an end of my fascinative sky gaze

Back to my room

Gaze at the ceiling

Falls into the sound of wall clock

The pillow's slumber intimacy begins.
