The issue begins with a flashback to one week prior to the events of the previous issue. was manufacturing some robots when it found a glutton robot. It attempts to program the greedy eater, but and 's attempt to meddle with NuBot Factory's security system causes CodeBot and the glutton robot to integrate and become Rosaksa, the robot-eating monster that ingested Probe and .
Back to the present, the group realises that CodeBot malfunctioned, turning it into the monster that ate their friends, and Adu Du was the one responsible. and Adu Du argue, with Gopal saying that Adu Du's actions led to their whole ordeal and Adu Du retorting that he did not wish the dreadful situation to happen to him either. The squarehead leaves to rescue Probe by himself after the argument. Meanwhile, blames himself for Ochobot's capture, lamenting that he should have used a different fusion as attempts to comfort him. However, when BoBoiBoy mentions Adu Du's bombs, Qually discovers that the grenades use a battery as their power source, and asks JoBot for the location of these batteries.
JoBot leads the trio to the battery storage area, where they are dormant and waiting to be charged. gains hope, seeing as they can emulate Adu Du's bombs by charging the batteries, while Adu Du tries to save Probe by himself. Qually starts manually charging the electromagnetic reactor that powers all the battery cells, but soon realises the control panel is off, leading BoBoiBoy to think they are stuck at another dead end. Suddenly, his powers start glowing, and soon the gang discovers BoBoiBoy Rumble's true powers: he is able to store and absorb tremendous amounts of energy! The brief celebration ends when Adu Du informs the trio of Rosaksa's location and motives, as well as reveals that Rosaksa's energy source, too, relies on batteries, which is why it eats mainly robots.
To bait Roksasa, Adu Du consistently feeds Rosaksa with batteries, while Rumble transmits his storage power to charge more to refill the monster's supply. Adu Du manages to lead Rosaksa to Gopal and Qually's battery feast. While the monster eats, Adu Du and Rumble charge up the electromagnetic reactor, distracting the monster and allowing Gopal to transform one of the monster's arms into durian toffee. This enrages Rosaksa, but as the monster prepares to attack Gopal and Qually for tricking it, Rumble blocks and absorbs the blast, converting it into energy that he uses to retaliate.
As Rumble battles Rosaksa with his newfound powers, Gopal and Qually discover that Rumble's hammer can transform into a gauntlet. Rumble's attacks successfully de-power and dismantle the monster long enough for it to release Probe and temporarily lose control of Ochobot. However, Rosaksa manages to escape with Ochobot still captive. Probe motions for Adu Du to flee while the monster is gone, but as repayment for helping rescue Probe, the squarehead immediately takes the rest to Rosaksa's location, where everyone attacks Rosaksa. Unfortunately, Rumble's energy supply is running out. Gopal orders Probe to shoot at Rumble to charge him up, to which Probe complies, but not before pointing out that they are technically shooting at an ally. With Probe's Destroyer Laser Blast, Rumble's energy stores are refilled, and BoBoiBoy creates a machine golem to combat Rosaksa on equal footing. He wins and permanently dismantles the robot-eating monster, rescuing all robots who were ingested and absorbed, including Ochobot.
The next day, BoBoiBoy removes Adu Du's chip, which he placed in and is the reason why the squarehead was able to teleport from place to place. Meanwhile, CodeBot apologizes for throwing NuBot Factory into chaos, which Gopal dismisses as technically Adu Du's fault instead of the power sphera. The issue ends with the group discussing whether Adu Du is good or bad.
