"Falling in love with somebody
you had no intention on
falling in love with, is the
most beautiful kind of love.
No foreign chemistry, or trying to save
them. Just a pure, raw connection
that created on its own."
-Sara Sheehan

Annie and I were walking back to the motel, the walk was quiet in a comforting way.

As Annie and I walked side by side our arms brushing against each other.

Her hands lazily drapped in her pockets, a smile on her face.

"Do you maybe wanna go get an ice cream?" I asked with a nervous smile.

"I mean its early."

"Early?" She smiled. "Johnny, its 12 almost 1." I blushed looking away.

"As long as you're paying and if we find one open."

"I-will"

I glanced down at her bruised knuckles.

She really did save my life, she did it even though I wasn't important, against her rapist.

Annie was different, I know I could
never be with her but she only attracted me more.

I've really seen her at her worst and at her best, she's strong, she just doesn't know it yet.

I was in love with every part of her, I loved how her brown hair bounces,
her sweet scent, her beautiful brown eyes, and the sensation of her sweet soft lips.

After a bit of walking we found an open Ice cream place.

"What flavor do you want?" She asked as we stepped into the ice cream shop.

"What are you gonna get?" I asked looking over the ice creams.

"Cookie and cream. Now what are you getting." She smiled.

"Probably just a vanilla cone." I answered with a playful smile.

Once we ordered we went back to walking back to the motel almost done with our ice creams.

"I love ice cream." She said out of nowhere.

A child like grin on her face.

"Why would you get such a plain flavor like vanilla."

I chuckled and looked at her.

"Because I know I like it, I like comfort. I like it too much which is mainly the reason I wanted to stay with you." I couldn't help but tell her.

"I mean yeah you're on the run but I wanted to know what it feels like to get out of my comfort zone."

"Aren't you scared?" She asked finishing her cone, she chewed while I thought about it, I finished mine.

"So far you've gotten kidnapped, you've watched a fight, you had your first kiss, helped in stealing a car and other things, and you dyed your hair."

"I was but thats what makes this thrilling. I mean you too but everything you've made me do always gave me
a small rush of adrenaline." I sighed when we got to our door.

I began to unlock the door, bothered with the thought of going home.

"Can't wait to get home."

"Who says you have to go home?" She asked turning me around.

"You know you don't-"

I cut her off with a kiss. I opened the door and we went inside, never breaking the heated kiss.
