"Look how ugly I was." I groaned, pointing to my middle school portrait in the yearbook.

Andrew chuckled, shaking his head, "Everyone went through that awkward middle school phase." he stated in his normal bristish accent.

"Yeah, but you didn't."

"What? Of course I did!" he laughed, pushing my shoulder, "I think I'm still going through it."

"Oh, yeah," I stated sarcastically, "One of the most handsome guys I know and you're still going through an awkward phase."

"Aw, you think I'm handsome?" he smiled, wagging his eyebrows at me.

I shut the yearbook and hit him in the chest with it, "I'll admit to it if you take me somewhere to get food."

"You're so weird." I giggled as Andrew presented the tied cherry stem on his tongue.

He quickly spit it out, "You're best friends with me, so what does that say about you?"

I playfully glared at him, turning my head when I heard someone clear their throat beside me. I took in the guy in front of me; shaky blonde hair, bright green eyes, tan. I smiled politely, "Hello."

"Hey," he smiled back, "I was wondering if I could have your number?"

I blinked, "Um-"

"No." I heard Andrew state, "You can't."

"I'm sorry, I don't think I was asking you." the blonde guy replied, raising an eyebrow.

"Okay, well-" I tried, only to get interrupted again.

"As her boyfriend, I don't appreciate you coming over and asking for her number." Andrew said, his accent becoming thicker.

"Boyfriend?" I asked out loud, looking over at him.

He gave me a look, telling me to play along.

"Right, boyfriend." I nodded, turning back to the other guy.

The guy just shook his head before walking away. I turned back towards Andrew, "Boyfriend?" I asked once again.

"He looked like a prick."

"You always look like a prick, but that doesn't stop me from talking to you." I smirked.

He sighed an ran a hand through his hair, "I have to tell you something."

"Okay." I nodded, motioning for him to say it.

"I've..fallen in love with you." he sighed, looking up at me with those bright brown eyes of his.

My heartbeat sped up, my eyes widening, "What?"

"It's true. I love you, Maraya."

I nodded slowly, "That's a relief, because I love you too."
