Life Savior

I stared at the city below me, tears falling down my cheeks. The fight I just had with my parents replayed in my head, their angry shouts echoing in my ears. I shook my head and covered my ears before focusing on the busy streets below me. I took in a breath before letting my body fall, my eyes closing in the process.

Not even seconds later, I felt something rather hard hit me and my body go to the side. I quickly opened my eyes and looked over, seeing a red masked figure. My heart fell, my eyes closing once again, "Why would you save me?"

"You're too young." was all he said.

I shook my head and stood up once we landed on a roof top, "I didn't need saving." I whispered.

"You did." he sighed.

I crossed my arms and stared up at his mask, "Well, then I guess I should repay you."

"You don't have to do that." he chuckled, shaking his head.

I walked up to him slowly, reaching up towards his mask. I could feel his body tense, causing me to bit my lip gently. I grabbed onto the bottom of the mask and lifted it up over his mouth, stopping right below his nose. I stood on my toes and gently pressed my lips to his. I felt him kiss me back gently, causing me to smile and pull away, "Go save someone who actually needs saving, bug boy."

A few days later, I was on the same rooftop I had tried to jump from, hoping to seeing him again. I looked around the city, not seeing him anywhere.

"Don't jump."

I smiled and turned, "I wasn't planning on it this time."

"Good." the masked man chuckled, walking over to me, "What's your name?"

"I'll tell you mine if you tell me yours."

"Spider-Man."

"Your real name." I laughed, shaking my head.

"No can do." he sighed, tilting his head.

"C'mon. It's not like I'm going to tell anyone." I stated, raising an eyebrow.

"Tell me yours first."

"Oreanna." I told him.

"That's different, I like it." I could hear the smile in his voice.

I smiled also, "Now, what's your name?"

"Ah, I think I'll keep that to myself." he chuckled before wrapping his arm around my waist and pulling me off of the building.
