Hakiri POV

It's already 2 days after Shizu reveal to Rimuru her condition. This days are pretty boring for me aside from training the goblins and Tempest fang wolves I always keep Rimuru on check because when he learn about Shizu condition he more or less became a stalker always tailing her everywhere she goes.

It's finally time for the adventure trio to leave, as Shizu accepted my plan she decided to cancel his plan on searching Demon lord Leon and live here,  while she is accepted warmly by the Hobgoblins, Goblinas, and Tempest fang wolves.

Near a hut we can see 5 individuals talking namely the adventure trio, Rimuru and Kage

Eren: "Where's Shizu I at least want to see her before departing"

Kage: "Don't worry Eren she will definitely show up"

Eren: "Really if Kage-san says so" She said while looking at Kage interestedly

Kaval: "Uhmmm" Kaval fake cough to prevent the change of mood because of Eren

Eren: "Oh, thank you very much Rimuru-san and Kage-san for the accommodation while staying at your town"

Just after thanking both brothers, Shizu run towards the group but suddenly she dropped down on her kness

3rd Person POV

Shizu: "It came to fast!! If this goes on, they'll be dragged on. I should get away from them or else I will cause more trouble to Rimuru-san and Kage-san."

Rimuru: "Shizu-san!" Rimuru yell while running towards Shizu

The adventure trio, Rigurd and Ranga tried to approach the 2 but got block by Kage

Kage: "Rigurd evacuate all in the area and you three we will handle this the three of you should evacuate as well"

Kaval: "But~~"

Kage: "No buts Ranga drag them to safely, we will handle the rest"

Ranga: "Hai, Kage-sama and Rimuru-sama should be careful"

Kage: "Thanks but don't worry about us too much"

As Kage ordered Rigurd immediately evacuate all citizens in the area and as the adventure trio wanted to help they got dragged by ranga to the other.

The only ones that's lest is Kage, Rimuru, Shizu and Ifrit.

Kage: "Rimuru I will let you take care of him, I'm gonna create a barrier to minimize the damage of the area"

Rimuru: "Yes, thank you it's also my chance to see how much I improve with our everyday spar"

After our little conversation I immediately create a barrier that can minimize the damage that Ifrit and Rimuru create

Ifrit raise his hand and point it to Rimuru and a strong fire suddenly appeared and goes directly to Rimuru

Upon seeing the fire coming towards him Rimuru bounce at the right side to avoid the fire and immediately lunch a [water blade]

Ifrit didn't even need to dodge the attack because after the [water blade] made a contact to after it evaporated

Rimuru: I could use rain to weaken a this spirit, but this amount won't have an effect. No wait. Rimuru thought

Rimuru: 'Great sage, if I use the water that I've stored for the water blade on him, can I weaken him?' Rimuru ask Great Sage

Great Sage: {Answer. You can, but there's a high risk of causing a steam explosion}

Rimuru: 'And what would happen if that occurs...?

Great Sage: {This whole region, including the town you're building, will be wiped off the map. Do you wish to proceed}

Rimuru: 'Hell freaking no'

Rimuru: Damn, my attack option are limited and it's not like the black lightning would even affect him.

Kage seeing Rimuru struggling fighting against Ifrit give him advice through [Thought Communication]

Kage: 'Rimuru you know you can use different elements'

Rimuru: 'Yeah but Water is stronger than fire and as you can see it didn't effect and my strongest magic is [Black Lightning] and I don't think it will work against him'

Kage: 'Try Ice-element'

Rimuru: 'But Ice is weaker than fire'

Kage: 'Just try it'

Rimuru: 'Hai'

While we are talking through [Thought Communication] Ifrit uses his double body and attack Rimuru rapidly while Rimuru keeps avoiding Ifrit attacks

After talking to me Rimuru immediately fire an [Ice beam] to Ifrit that give him a lot of damage

Rimuru who didn't let Ifrit recover fire a [Icicle Scatter]

Rimuru: 'Good, that magic works on him' Rimuru said to Kage

Kage: 'Yeah, good work and don't worry I'm still deploying a barrier'

Rimuru: 'Yosh, it's ti~~'

While Rimuru is distracted from talking to Kage, Ifrit uses that chance to cast a magic under Rimuru called [Flare Circle]

Rimuru: "Oh Shit!"

The flame from the [Flame Circle] envelop Rimuru and he thinks this is where his second life ends

Rimuru: What a blunder... I guess this is the end for me.

Rimuru: I'm going to die without being able to save Shizu and leaving this world without saying goodbye to Kage.

Rimuru: That's pretty pathetic.

Rimuru: It's only been a few months since I was reincarnated as a slime, but what a short hu~~ no, slime life.

Rimuru uses [Sticky Silk] to immobilized Ifrit that caused him to be surprised

Rimuru: "Sorry Ifrit. Fire doesn't affect me"

Rimuru: "It's time to return shizu to me" Rimuru said sternly

Rimuru uses his Unique Skill [Predator]

After being predated, Ifrit was transported to Rimuru Imaginary Space and got to meet Veldora who is residing on Rimuru Imaginary Space

After Ifrit being predated Shizu change into her normal appearance while unconscious, falling onto the ground while being catch by Rimuru
