RIMURU POV

After the little interaction with the spirit, Shizue and I continued our practice, but this time the spirit was helping Shizue to fully maximize her potential. As we continued our training, I couldn't help but marvel at the synergy between Shizue's newfound abilities and the guidance of the contracted spirit.

Shizue: "This is incredible, Rimuru. I can feel the energy flowing through me more smoothly, and the control over my skills has improved significantly."

Rimuru: "It seems like the spirit is a valuable addition to your abilities. Kage really thought this through."

Shizue: "Indeed, Rimuru. I am grateful for the spirit's assistance. Now, let's continue refining these skills."

As we delved deeper into our training, focusing on honing Shizue's control over her powers, I received an urgent [Thought Communication]. The urgency in the message caught my attention, and I immediately opened the communication channel.

GREAT SAGE: <<Rimuru-sama, urgent report. Ranga has detected a powerful magical presence approaching the goblin hunting party in the forest. The nature of this presence is unknown, but caution is advised.>>

Rimuru: "Understood, Great Sage. Shizue, we need to head back to the forest immediately. There's a potential threat to the goblin hunting party."

Shizue: "I'm ready, Rimuru."

With a sense of urgency, we quickly made our way back to the forest where the goblin hunting party was gathering ingredients for the upcoming celebration. 

While running towards the goblin hunting party, I contacted Shizue to ask about her mask.

Rimuru:"Shizue can you hear me?"

Shizue: "What's up Rimuru! Is there something wrong"

Rimuru:"No, I just want to ask if I can borrow your mask Shizue?"

Shizue:"I don't really need it right now so you can have it, but what will you do about it?"

Rimuru:"I use it while your asleep, I'm sorry about that. When I used it my aura completely vanished and when I analyzed I discovered that it can help me my aura from the others."

Shizue:"Oh! I totally get it, although i don't use this mask that way, I know this mask has more mystery uncovered."

Shizue: "Here!"

After Shizue yelled out while running she throw the mask towards me and I catch. I immediately place it in my face.

Rimuru:"Thanks!"

The atmosphere became tense as we approached the location, and I could sense the heightened alertness of the creatures in the vicinity.

Upon reaching the location of the goblins, We saw Gobta fighting an old white swordsman and was wounded on his chest and was thrown in front of us. This scene was enough for Shizu to be enraged and now preparing for a counter attack. While Shizu is in a defensive position ready to parry if they attack while I'm observing my surroundings, I see some Goblin and Tempest Wolves lying on the ground while some continued to fight.

Gobta:"I got ssu, It hurts ssu, Dying ssu----!!"

I throw a healing potion towards Gobta who is being dramatic.

Rimuru:"Calm down, The wound is not deep"

Gobta:"Ri... Rimuru-sama!"

Gobta and the others who just realize my arrival was suprised and breath sigh of relief. The one who are still fighting also stop and approached me.

Rimuru:"This is recovery medicince! It's a great help!"

Rimuru:"Explain the situation, what happend to you guys?"

Rigur:"The collapsed men are all alright. They are only sleeping because of a spell."

Rigur continue in a disappointed face and tone.

Rigur:"I'm really embarrased. Originally we increased the security because of the monsterous aura. But I didn't expect to be the ogre's tribe." 

Rimuru:"Ogre tribe?"

In my previous life games and movies ogre are supposed to be massive and muscular being, towering over an average human. Their skin is often depicted as rough and coarse, ranging in color from earthy tones like brown or green. Their facial features are distinctive, with prominent brows, broad noses, and large, sometimes tusk-like teeth. Ogres are known for their brutish appearance, and their eyes might be small and beady or possess an intimidating glare. But the ogre in front of me is very different, and it's even wearing an armor and that said no matter how I look at the red ogre sword it is really a Japanese blade (Katana),right?.

Rimuru: "Ranga!!"

Ranga: "Master!"

Ranga who are still fighting finally realized my appearance immediately stop and approached me and the other's followed.

Ranga: "I'm really sorry, Even though I'm here, It became like this "

After I saw that my subordinates are now safe I step between them and confronts the ogre's. Shizu follow my side as always.

The leader of the ogre group stepped forward, with his stern expression

Rimuru:"Oi you guys!"

Rimuru:"Even though I don't really understand the situation, I think it's nice to finish it here."

Rimuru:"You have the the decision talk this nicely."

Even though the difference of power. Gobta and Rigur did not receive any fatal injury. The security team is not injured, only unable to move. Based on this, It looks like there's a heading meaning in their actions. 

ogre leader:"SHOW YOUR ORIGINAL FORM EVIL DEMON!"

Rimuru:"Huh?"

Rimuru:"Oi Oi Oi Wait a minute! What did you just call me!?"

Now I'm lost. I didn't know why I'm called evil demon.

ogre leader: "To equip on a demon item is not something a normal person will dare to do."

ogre leader: "You seem to disguise your appearance to suppress your demon aura but you are to dense. The ogre tribe mage princess eyes will not be tricked"

Shizue: "Hhehheehe"

After the ogre statement this makes Shizue snickering at my side, while we are both imagining my lovable form, probably?.

ogre leader: "What's so funny about it. Hmph, it doesn't matter the answer of our problem is already presented by the mask you are using."

(Author note: I know this chapter is short, because most my chapter reach 1200 words. This chapter release should be 1 week after I release the chapter 16 but because of school events and activities it got postponed. I also plan to include Kage, Rimuru, Shizue stats on this chapter but after I draft it reach a 1000 words that's why I will post it next time.

The next chapter(not really a chapter) I will answer some comments that are posted on this story. Just a disclaimer my answers might contain some spoilers.
